I cannot praise highly enough James’ diligence, determination, and eye for detail.
Acting as professional executor, I instructed James to assist me with a disclosure to HMRC and the filing of multiple tax returns for an estate where income had not been reported appropriately during the lifetime of the deceased.
It was only through James’ doggedness that we discovered £11,000 of missing income that had not been declared by agents acting for the client during his lifetime.
James found the funds, filed the requisite tax returns and was even able to successfully appeal penalties that had accrued in the deceased’s name.
The beneficiaries of the estate were hugely grateful and thoroughly impressed.
