Amazingly helpful garage. They fitted us in when we were visiting Ripon and needed work done at short notice. Very polite and considerate in explaining what needed doing and lending us a car while the work was done. We wished we lived close enough to use them all the time.

I've been taking my car to Powell's of Ripon for several years for services and MOTs to ensure it remains in perfect running condition.
The overall customer service is great and they've kept my car in great condition. I've yet to have any issues with it despite driving over 150,000 miles and I believe that it's because of the work that they have done on it to date.
I recommend Powell's to anyone who wants to ensure they receive a top customer experience with the mechanical skillset to match.

I have been taking my cars to Powells of Ripon for well over a decade now and they always provide a brilliant service, from the initial enquiries and booking in procedures, right through to handover of the car following work. Completely trustworthy (unlike most garages out there) and I would never risk taking my car anywhere else for worry of people cutting corners or trying to rip me off.

They have vast knowledge of work on all manufacturers and models old and new, so there are never any worries that they won't be able to diagnose or fix an issue.

Fantastic service from really intelligent and interested mechanics. Took my Punto there with an unexplained, intermittent engine cut out issue. Had been to two previous auto electric garages and big bills with no answers. A couple of hours labour and Nick had checked all the usual things to no avail, he then spent his own time researching issues with puntos and found that the fuse box was a superseded part. An easy fix that other specialists had not worked out after hundreds of pounds worth of bills. We now take all our vehicles there. Could not recommend more highly

Been going to Powells for around 10 years and they are excellent. Helpful, honest and definitely not expensive plus they do a really, really thorough job. Just had my Z4 serviced - £ 150. If I had taken that to a BMW dealership then I bet it would be triple that at least. One last word. Was in a taxi a couple of years ago in Ripon and the taxi driver was bemoaning the fact that his employers had moved their mtce business to Halfords of all people (Kwik Fit are equally rubbish in my experience). One very unhappy taxi driver as he valued having a safe vehicle maintained by Powells as important. Cannot praise them enough. If you want to speak to me then contact them as my car was serviced yesterday so they know who I am. Happy to take a call. As for Emma's spiteful review - number 1, I don't expect the lady on reception to be a car specialist any more than I expect a receptionist in the NHS to be a qualified brain surgeon. The lady in question is also helpful and precise in my experience. Secondly, if your speech is a reflection of your appalling spelling then no wonder the receptionist struggled to help you. I am guessing that English GCSE was beyond you.
