Perfect for what we needed. Clean, pleasant and close to where we needed to be. Fair price. Staff member Karen on the front desk was so so lovely and chatted with me and my daughter. There was another 2 girls working while we were there and they were so friendly and accommodating.

Booked to stay 2 nights with family we normally stay at the Peel Park Premier inn but they didn't have a family room available, I'm glad in a way as this one was much better. we got a lovely welcome from the receptionist called Gavin, he was very polite and helpful. I didn't realise I should have ordered a cot so when I went to the desk to ask for one Gavin was more than helpful and had one brought to the room really quickly. Great location as only 10 minutes walk into the town centre.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made a good first impression on arrival. The location is also convenient, being close to the motorway and easy to find. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. The room itself was extremely hot, with no air conditioning and very little ventilation, which made it uncomfortable to relax or get a proper night’s sleep. There was also no television remote provided, which was inconvenient, and the overall cleanliness of the room was disappointing – it did not feel as fresh or well-presented as you would normally expect from a Premier Inn. I’ve stayed with the chain many times and usually find the standards to be reliable, but this stay sadly fell short of expectations.

You don't expect a huge amount with a premier inn. Staff were welcoming and polite. Hotel is a little dated but was quiet and comfortable.

Road and parking area is in a bad state, trying to avoid pot holes on the way in and out.

Will stay again as its convenient, cheap and nice staff

We have stopped in a lot of premier inns and 99% of the time we have had a good stay. However Unfortunately this was a poor one. First of all the staff were fantastic and very friendly throughout. However the room was very dirty with rips in furniture cracks in ceilings and a lot of mould in the bathroom! The hotel was very busy due to there been a fighting event on at a venue up the road which then resulted in lots of loud noise shouting and drinking til past midnight. Then on the morning we were told the restaurant was under refurbishment and there was only a continental breakfast available which we had paid for a full all you can eat. Mentioned all the above on check out and was given a full refund when contacted customer service the next day. But some of these issues need to be addressed so it doesn't have a knock on effect on others.

It's a little dated but the room was OK. Very clean.
Some lovely staff work there and they are friendly and welcoming.
The problem comes with the restaurant. It's a pub that has obviously closed and is just for hotel guests. It's the same menu as most Prems, but the food took forever even though there was half a dozen people in. And it was either over cooked or not cooked. I got a burger and it was raw. Probably OK if it fresh, but I assume it's just frozen crap.
No breakfast one day so I assume someone rang in and there's no back up.
Hotels OK. Restaurant is terrible.

Sheets had red wine stains. Bedside shelf had a piece of chocolate sitting on it ( we hadn't brought any chocolate into the room). Also chef phoned in sick so there was no hot breakfast and we where told at reception we would get a refund as we had prepaid for breakfast and nearly a week later still no refund.

The hotel room was not clean and had a awful smell. Found it incredibly difficult to sleep and would not return. The breakfast in the restaurant had under cooked food. Hotel needs an overall update. Molds in the bathroom and damp smell.
