Stay away from this company!
I know it's not the right place to leave this kind of comment, however they deleted their Glassdoor profile recently (I wonder why) and I need to show people what kind of company Premierline is for job seekers.
I was approached by a lovely recruiter from a recruitment company and she recommended me to Premierline as they were looking for someone for a very long time. Premierline was happy to interview me, firstly I had a 15 minutes video call, then I was invited for an in person interview.
I would like to mention that I was very far away from the office because of a family emergency (and they became aware of that), I live very close to Lancaster, but that day I was more than 2 hours away, and due to unforeseen circumstances I arrived around 15 minutes late for the interview. I apologised profusely to the lady who was interviewing me. It all went well, I aced the questions, I was the perfect candidate for the role. I felt so good that day, we talked a lot about everything. The interview took 1 hour and 30 minutes as we talked so much. We even discussed the starting day.
The next day the recruiter called me and informed that they put down my application because I arrived late and I was wearing sneakers. For them it was completely unprofessional. However they have photos on Google showing their team, and there's a girl with the exact same shoes I was using, in addition, if they care so much about the footwear, and are so strict, they should've said something about it beforehand, but they didn't say anything. Why dismiss a perfect candidate with extensive experiences and skills for something so small? Makes me wonder what kind of treatment the young employees have and how discriminative this company can be.
Yes, I believe there was discrimination. And here I have to mention that I have hand and finger tattoos and a Brazilian accent. I don't believe the sneakers and arriving 15 minutes late was the only reasons for my dismissal.
They don't imagine the amount of money I spent to get there and the energy and effort I put in my application, and the frustration I felt after hearing that 'no'. I'm looking for support in Citizens Advice and will try to get to an outcome for the humiliation I've been through.
I am baffled that a company that isn't even paying that much for that role dismissed a candidate because of the shoes. There's something very dodgy in there and I'll be looking for my rights and will let everyone know about this. They said it was unprofessional of me to arrive late and use sneakers, however when I sent an email kindly asking them to reconsider my application, they didn't reply. That's unprofessional and hypocritical!

One star is too generous. Never subscribed to emails, repeatedly requested to be removed from the mailing list, and emails continued to arrive. Terrible organisation in breach of GDPR.

Been with them for 5 years and the cost of my policy has gone up every year, despite never making a claim. So no reward for no claims, will not use again.

Took out property insurance, towards the renewal date they started asking questions about the building materials used in the construction of my property only which the building contractor who originally built the property would have known, I couldn't answer so they voided my policy and left me without insurance.
Stay away from this company.

Getting a quote for business insurance is like pulling teeth. I’m not a surveyor. I want contents insurance and public liability insurance. They want to know all the materials used in the construction of the building my shop is in and what percentage is flat roof, and what that is made of.

I’ve absolutely no idea!!

I’m now uninsured

Horrible customer service! These people are calling me twice a day since last week. The worst bit is that the first thing they say is " Hi, I want to speak to the manager!!" Excuse me but you should learn some phone manners and how to present yourself on the phone. I haven´t heard a company name, to who am I speaking to? Secondly, they lie a lot like saying that "we have been quoted with them in previous years". I spoke to my manager and he confirmed we haven´t been quoted for the last 5 years. NOW the bits that makes me very annoyed is that they keep calling when I have told them already 3 times that I CAN´T passed the call to a manager! My managers don´t want to talk to you! I tried to be nice and said to them that if they send an email I will forwarded it to my manager and if he wants he will speak to them. No point, of me trying to be polite, they just ignore it and keep up with the same song over and over again! You are not getting new customers with this kind of customer service!

Really poor service. The agent didn't leave any notes on the system which meant none of their colleagues could track the progress of the query when they were out of the office. Ended up spending a week chasing and no luck. Poor systems, communication and ultimately no solution.
