You won't find another company like this I know so because Iv tried. Give them a call and see for your self the customer service and care is fantastic which is something Iv personal struggled with eles where however these guy so far seem to have it in bucket loads. I'm rather impressed

My late husband had a multi bike policy with this company for many years and never made a claim. After his death in January, I sent a copy of his death certificate as requested to cancel the policy. After 4 phone calls, in which I was told different information, I was eventually informed that without proof of sale, the policy could not be cancelled. How ridiculous. After complaining via email, I received a phone call telling me that I would receive a refund of £8.32 (for 2 months - not sure how that was calculated) , but it would take 30 days. They also said they didn't normally refund under £10, but due to the circumstances, they would make an exception. I am disgusted. The lack of customer service is appalling. And to have to repeatedly request the cancellation of the policy, whilst grieving, is unacceptable. I would never recommend this company, who apparently have won awards for their customer service.

I have used Principal for a few years now and recently changed bikes and insured my new one with them. The staff I dealt with were all very helpful in cancelling my old policy and arranging a new one, couldn’t fault either of them. Not the absolute cheapest but offered the best level of cover I could find. Only complaint I have is the normal one of admin charges for making simple changes but they are not alone in that respect.

Leaving a 5 star review thanks to Kamren!
After calling to discuss my renewal price with a different individual at principal, I wasn’t overly impressed with the help I received and decided to have a think and call back at a later date.
My second call was to Kamren! What a lovely individual who really went above and beyond to ensure I received the best customer service, he’s a real asset to the company and I hope to always have Kamren when dealing with my insurance from now on.

They cancelled my policy without calling or informing me because they said I never signed the policy agreement with close brothers. And now I have to pay a cancellation fee for a policy that I never cancelled. I am sure that chasing the 155£ they are going to call me and mail me, but they had no time to do it all these 30 days since I started my policy with them. I think that was intentional.

Bought insurance through this company in June 24 at what I thought was a great price. Sold my campervan in December and upon cancelling, did I get a refund of the 6 months still on the policy?
NO, they charged me an extra £28.45 to cancel the policy. If I had refused to pay it would have been passed onto a debt collection company.
This company is like a modern day Robin Hood, robbing people.
Think twice before you use them!!!

Recently had a motorcycle policy with them, after purchasing i didn't receive any emails of any documents, had to call them to finally get these. Then the website wouldn't work to allow me to change any details. And after cancelling the policy after less than 2 weeks was told it would be up to 60days to relieve a refund! Ended up taking 6 weeks for the refund to come through, all the while principle we're of no help to try and resolve this. Honestly one of the worst experiences with insurance I've had
