I initially bought a property that Proctors marketed 20 years ago and have used them since to sell a number of properties in the intervening period.
The latest sale is completing 5 weeks after accepting the offer. Proctors are pro active and have liaised with myself, tenant and solicitors keeping everyone up-to-date and informed.
More than happy with the service and cost - would highly recommend.

Contacted Proctors to obtain valuations on 3 of my son’s properties, at the time of booking I advised we were not in a position to decide if the properties are to be sold and the office staff booked in the valuations regardless. It states on Proctors website that valuations are free of charge with no exceptions listed, nor terms and conditions specified. However following the valuations I was informed by Craig there would be a charge to receive said valuations. Craig was very unhelpful and seemed to be rather inconvenienced that we would not immediately be listing the properties for sale. Very poor service with a distinct lack of disclosure of costs. I assumed free means free!
What Craig pickles fails to add in his response is how disgruntled he was to have carried out valuations, despite the fact we fully disclosed not being in a position to sell at this time due to family bereavement.
Furthermore we did not need a report for legal purposes, we just required an email confirming the value of a properties which two other reputable estate agents had no issue providing. Craig refused to provide those figures unless we paid for them.
Terrible service at an already stressful time. Would not recommend.

The team at Proctors were super helpful throughout the process of buying my house. Always willing to take us on multiple viewings, chased for information whenever we needed it and were prompt on letting us know when we could collect the keys. I couldn't have asked for a better service.

Very pleased we chose this estate agents above other local agents. Eileen was professional, friendly and the whole team likewise. Our sale was dealt with sensitively and we were helped by practical and friendly advice throughout. There is nothing negative to say about this business and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to friends, family or others. Very poor experience selling from start to finish.

After our first sale fell through we've since found out they were still telling people it was sold and turning potential buyers away.

We had an agreement that they would show people around but they never had anyone available to do so.

Communication started out well with Debbie but as the months passed I was stuck trying to get a word in between Janet speaking over me in a very patronising tone.

They never chased and I resorted to using the house we were buyings estate agent to give us update on our sale, as they had a better relationship with our buyer than Proctors whom they bought through.

They also told us our buyer was cash and around 7 months in and their mortgage now being sorted we will be completing tomorrow.

I've dealt with several estate agents over the past few years who we have been disappointed in but they look amazing in comparison to Proctors.

I have just sold my house, completion took place today. Although more than one member of staff dealt with my sale, it was mainly Victoria who showed potential buyers around. She was professional and, at the same time, friendly, putting me at my ease at a difficult time to sell a house, coming up to Christmas in the middle of a pandemic! I think I got the offer I wanted within about 3 weeks of the house going up for sale. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Thanks to all the team.

Bought my house through Proctors quite a few years ago, they was very helpful throughout the purchase and made it stress free to say I hadn't been through the buying process for around 20 years so was all new. Can't fault them and was always a helping hand. All the staff are very pleasant and make the office very welcoming 🙂
