I had to stop by here for a day pass with my son [he is with USAF]. It is the first building on the right prior to the gate entry.

It was a smooth visit as I had the right ID (US passport). The person behind the counter was professional and walked us through the process. Only took a few minutes and off we went.

Make sure to have your pass and ID available while on base at all times.

A group of 31 families at Royal Air Force Mildenhall must move by Jan. 31due to condemned housing that will be destroyed.

We have now had over an hour of an osprey hovering over us ..it has totally ruined my evening..i can see the control tower & understand manoevres ..but really
Waste of fuel!! We all have to economise EXCEPT YOU, give us a break@!!!

Definitely not a bad first base. Security is high, well clean inside, and feels like a miniature America in the UK. Would totally reccomend a visit.
