I retired in April 2025 and was not happy with my IFA who had changed ownership twice in three years so approached Rob for financial advice concerning my pension options. We had a couple of face to face meetings discussing what I hoped for from my pension pots and options available to me and he made recommendations that met my needs. I agreed to proceed.

Since then Rob has kept me updated about the progress being made and the new arrangements are now in place.

Upon retirement, I had couple of pensions to consolidate and due to a change in our circumstances, both my husband and I needed to review our finances. Myself and my wife needed good independent advice regarding our company pensions.
Due to what we had read about scams we were nervous about how to obtain such advice but after gaining contact from Rob through the unbiased.co.uk website our fears were very much allayed.

Rob arranged a time convenient to us to visit us at home and went through our various pensions and helped us understand what our options with them were. He clearly advised how the fee structure would work if we were to decide to progress (which we did).
In both the initial and follow up meetings he was professional, articulate and explained things clearly with jargon free constructive advice and was patient with our many questions.

We are just in the process of a transfer taking place to a fund better aligned to our situation but absolutely we have had the outcome we were looking for in so far as we now have much better understanding of our pensions and what our future should look like.
Additionally, the transfer is being dealt with by Rob without anything having to be undertaken by ourselves which in itself is a huge relief.

We don't feel that anything could have been any better, everything was clearly explained, all questions answered and at no point were we rushed or pressured into making any decisions.
Follow up documentation was received and Rob reassured us that he is happy to be contacted with any additional questions.
