Finally served by a lady (30/01/2025) who clearly does not enjoy her job - not a glimmer of a smile and I was made to feel very unwelcome. There was only myself and one other person in front of me - we waited a Very long time whilst she did everything she could to avoid serving us. I queued for at least 15 minutes. I dread to think how it would be if she were busy! This member of staff should not be working in a customer faced environment. Poor show!!

They have ridiculous queue times because though there could three or four of them in. They faff around. The older ladies are rude, the younger two ladies are friendly and polite. The slef service machines are never on to use yourself. Always "unavailable" if they are they won't clear the onscreen issues. Then you have their unreliability. They decide to just randomly not open or turn up to work on some Fridays or Saturdays. Really unacceptable that offices for royal mail are purchased up or granted to people who just have poor attitudes.

This place needs to be SHUT and undergo new management. So many people are writing the same stories in their reviews! All the employees, especially the young ones who have clearly not been customers of anything before, do not understand that WE- CUSTOMERS, pay car parking fees to attend this post office and if they decide to go home early or shut for NO reason, we do not get our money back. We also get our information from public sources where THEIR MANAGEMENT sends the information. The office is supposed to be OPEN during their opening hours. Yet, as many reviews have said, they decide to shut during the BUSIEST TIMES for reasons such as management incompetence: why have someone serving customers at the busiest of times if they can ALL shut and go to lunch? Also they shut earlier than mentioned on every single website. This has been going on for years!!!!!! If all our economy was run like that these people would not be having their jobs right now as they would be paying higher taxes and they would forget to be lazy!. Unprofessional, lacking customer care, inexperienced at dealing with customer complaints, lazy as in they do not work the hours that are mentioned in the public domain and happy to give the customer the blind eye. My recommendation is that you all go to the post office that is 2 mins drive from there by Linkfield Corner. Lovely professional family! Always helping as they run their own business there. Completely different attitude and service!.

Never enough staff. The hours are wrong on Google. They shut whenever they want and tell you to come back in an hour and a half as if you have nowhere else to be or can just extend your own lunch break by a ridiculous amount of time. PLEASE put the actual hours you are open online so people don’t rush to make it before closing only to find they’re shutting an hour early.

Slowest service ever.
Self-serve machines either don’t work or are indecipherable. Need better clear instructions on them for what services can be processed via self-serve.

Avoid completely if you can use somewhere else.

A wasted one hour detour home in the freezing cold to collect one parcel and send another. Told they’ve closed early, as short staffed and need to cash up. No update on their website, really poor comms. Not good enough.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Rude staff. Arrived at 13:04 on a Saturday. They said they were closing & wouldn’t serve me even though there was a huge sign saying it closes at 13:30. Awful service & very messy counters.

Ignore the negative reviews! This post office is really good. I’ve been going here for years. The customer service is excellent. They have self service machines and someone there to help you to use them. They manage to keep an eye on how many customers are there and react appropriately.
