We're in the process of using Redwood for the 3rd HMO mortgage in 2 years. We've found the service to be great and, in my experience, they've been a relationship based bank that are happy to support investors on more interesting deals! Add to that the sensible pricing and you've got a great fit for investors. We'll be back again in the future.

Have been with this bank for about five years. They answer the phone quickly and the customer service staff are very helpful. I recently reviewed the bank feeling that they had not given proper information on interest rates on my product. The bank later wrote to me and pointed out that they had informed me when advising of an interest rate change that I may not be on the best rate.
This proved to be correct, and whilst I have suggested an improvement in how they convey that information it is clear that I was wrong in suggesting that they had not informed me or been less than ethical.
As my other experiences with the bank have been excellent I have therefore changed my rating.

I would be very careful about investing your savings with Redwood. Only do so if you can absolutely guarantee that no changes in your circumstances, opportunities that may arise or events outside of your control would require you to access your savings outside of the pre arranged notice period. Redwood will not negotiate, the senior management team refuse to talk to you directly and get their staff to sadly say there is nothing they can do. Other savings account providers offer similar savings rates but allowed us to access our money outside of the set terms. Even if you are willing to take a financial hit Redwood will not accommodate you or even allow you to talk to the Senior Management Team directly. There is no compassion or awareness of the human cost of steadfastly holding fast to the terms and conditions when a business needs to act quickly. Be very careful and consider your options before investing, once tied in there is no room for discussion, once the senior management team have made up their mind. As we found out to our very great expense.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with redwood bank , and I can confidently say that it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This review serves as a strong warning to anyone considering their services: steer clear of this bank lender at all costs!

Right from the beginning, the process was plagued with inefficiency and lack of communication. Despite providing all the necessary documentation promptly, I had to constantly chase them for updates. It seemed like their employees lacked basic professionalism and failed to understand the importance of timely responses. My requests for information were met with indifference, leaving me frustrated and anxious about the status of my application.

Moreover, the bank lender's lack of transparency became apparent when they introduced unexpected fees and hidden charges. The terms and conditions that were initially presented were altered without prior notice, resulting in additional financial burdens that were never disclosed in the beginning. This deceptive practice was not only unethical but also a clear indication of their disregard for their customers' well-being.

Furthermore, their incompetence extended to the processing of my loan. The entire procedure was plagued with unnecessary delays and mistakes. Documents were misplaced, information was incorrectly recorded, and there were frequent errors in their internal systems. These blunders not only wasted my time but also caused considerable stress and inconvenience.

Even when it came to customer service, their representatives were unhelpful and unresponsive. Whenever I called to seek clarification or resolution to my issues, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior. It felt as though my concerns were falling on deaf ears, and the staff showed no interest in rectifying the problems they had caused.

In the end, the experience with redwood bank was nothing short of a disaster. I regret ever engaging with them and would strongly advise against anyone else doing so. Their lack of professionalism, transparency, and customer care was utterly unacceptable.

I implore you to explore other reputable options when seeking financial assistance. There are numerous other bank lenders out there who prioritize their customers' needs and provide efficient, transparent, and respectful services. Spare yourself the headache and stress—avoid redwood at all costs

Online security is worrying - they don't support special characters in passwords. The system doesn't tell you this, so it allows you to create a password containing special characters, but when you then try to login your account gets locked. Called customer services and was told it is a limitation that they are aware of! Pretty worrying for a bank to have such lax password security - and no 2-factor auth. Decided not to fund the account as a result. The two stars are for the person I spoke to on the phone who answered quickly and was polite and helpful.

We are very happy with the level of service from Redwood. From account opening, and answering initial queries I had, to account maintenance and your communication. In line with the BOE base rate our account rate has been reduced, but this was communicated in advance and made very clear as to why and what the changes would be. Clear, concise communication. Would highly recommend.

An absolutely shocking service. After months of 'back & forth' discussions, the banks solicitors failed to complete on my transaction despite repeatedly providing information to the bank to enable them to do so. All I have been left with are legal fees and brokers costs - with no apology or compensation offered. Avoid at all costs
