I took out a warranty on an integrated dishwasher for peace of mind. I read the complete T's and C's and it states Retracare should be notified of any changes including "the person named on the policy". We are selling the house and the dishwasher is obviously included as it is integrated. I wanted to check to see if I could change the name on the policy to the new owner of the house. The policy is not transferable to a new owner, despite indicating in the T's and C's that it can be. Be warned, if you take out a warranty on integrated appliances, you cannot transfer the warranty to the new owner. Rather a waste of money in this instance.

I have had a truly frustrating experience with this insurance company—it’s easily one of the worst I’ve encountered. My Dyson vacuum desperately requires a new battery, and I’ve been left without a functioning vacuum for nearly 20 days now. To make matters worse, the customer service has been incredibly unprofessional throughout the process. They managed to order the battery, but it took a staggering 10 days just for it to arrive.

Now, here's the most aggravating part: the insurance company received my parcel for repair on December 5, 2024, and as of today, there has been absolutely no progress on the repair. It’s unacceptable to be left waiting like this, especially when maintaining a clean home is so important.

I've been waiting since August for my TV to be fixed. Correct service sent the quote back to you in September, it's November now and no communication at all. I've been so patient only to be ignored.

It was my misfortune to have to contact this company about an extended fridge warranty taken out on when buying at Herbert Todd electrical appliance shop in York. Retracare NEVER answer the phone. The line connects with a musical holding system, but there are no messages to say you are in a queue, nothing. You can waste days hanging on. In the end Herbert Todd managed to contact them on my behalf through a non-public email. My warranty had actually expired - Retracare could have told me that, had their actually answered. They are now, apparently, part of Pacifica. I would avoid at all costs.

Incredibly poor service. We first reported our fault 5 weeks ago. We're still no further forward getting our dishwasher fixed, the parts are out of stock and Retracare don't respond to any communication. I held on the phone for 2 hours yesterday and then was told I'd get a call back which still hasn't happened. Please provide the warranty service I paid for and fix the dishwasher.

Absolutely shocking, basically a legalised scam! If you manage to get an answer through the labyrinth phone system you get told nonsense like, if it has been like if for a while should have been dealt with under manufacturers warranty and drawers and runners are not covered. Total con and no wonder why so many bad reviews. my advice, avoid at all cost and cancel under cooling off if you still have time

Took over 4 weeks to repair a fridge, missed 2 repair appointments and hung up the phone on me. They subcontract repairs to another company who subcontract out to another person. I was days away from complaining to the financial ombudsman, buying a new fridge and suing them for breach of contract. I suspect I am too patient. If you have a choice look elsewhere for an extended warranty as my experience was very poor indeed.

Also because they subcontract repairs to another company they refuse to take responsibility when said company does not show up.

To summarise: slow, low quality service and they accept no responsibility. After all who cant wait 4 weeks for a fridge repair (sarcasm).
