I recently had a very stressful and negative experience with Right Choice Insurance Brokers Ltd. I was looking for insurance through a platform, provided all the necessary information, and chose the insurance that matched my needs at an acceptable price. I paid for the entire year upfront and received confirmation that the insurance was purchased, but I was informed that I would receive a call the next day.

The next day, I received a rather unpleasant call from a company representative, who questioned me in a manner that made me feel like a suspect being interrogated. This experience caused me a lot of stress. After asking several questions, he informed me that, based on the information provided, they needed to increase the insurance premium. Although I initially disagreed, the representative continued to pressure me, hardly allowing me to speak. Eventually, he tried to lower the price after consulting with someone, but I realized the whole situation seemed deceitful.

I decided to decline the insurance and requested a refund. Fortunately, they refunded the money within two days.

This experience was not only disappointing but also incredibly stressful, especially since many other customers online also had negative reviews about this company. I am not satisfied with this behavior, and I would not want others to go through the same situation. For this reason, I do not recommend Right Choice Insurance Brokers Ltd as a reliable insurance company.

Absolute Scammers!

I was buying a new car, so to cancel my existing policy, I used their portal. The system suggested that if I was purchasing a new car within the next 30 days, it would be cheaper to keep my existing policy and simply change the vehicle to avoid cancellation charges—which made sense.

The insurance quotes from other providers were around £12,000 for a full year of coverage. I assumed my current insurance company, with whom I had been for 1.5 years, would offer a similar rate. Since I had already used my policy for five months, I expected to transfer it to my new vehicle for the remaining seven months while also earning an extra No Claims Bonus (NCB).

An active insurance policy was required for the car delivery, so on the day and time of delivery, I updated my vehicle details on their portal. To my shock, it quoted me £3,900 for the remaining seven months of my policy. With no other option at the time and needing to proceed with the delivery, I reluctantly accepted.

I then canceled the policy within 14 days of adding my new vehicle, but they still charged me £600 for using it. Their cancellation fees included a 10% broker fee on the £3,900, which was the very reason I chose to take my business elsewhere.

Their customer service is all smiles when you're buying a policy but downright rude when dealing with issues like this. Avoid them at all costs—even if it means paying a few hundred pounds more with another provider—because they will end up costing you much more in the long run!

Had insurance first year with them and no problems. Renewal time, no claims but premium increased by over £300. Shopped around and found cheaper. Called them just to politely let them know won’t be renewing, auto system said you don’t need to tell us, persevered to talk to a person. Reply was “ok I’ll let the team know”. Call terminated. Clearly not as interested in doing best for you as they say, and happy to price gouge you. Won’t be returning.

Terrible Service – Never Again!

This is by far the worst car insurance company I have ever dealt with. From the moment I signed up, it was nothing but long call waits,any excuse to drive up fees, and awful customer service.
I regret ever choosing this company and would not recommend it to anyone. Stay far away!

Absolutely awful! I feel I've been robbed loads of money for 7 days car insurance. I was sold a car which broke within days. As i couldnt druve it and had to sell it i cancelled within my 14 days cooling off period. I'd arranged to pay £40 month insurance. I was then charged £125 on top for cancellation fees. I tried to call regarding this and was not able to get through. I now have an e tra £165 in charges bringing it to around £400 for 7 days insurance. I am a carer on low income for a disabled family member. I told them this when I got the first charges within 7 days. They are a company that don't care at all no matter your situation. Be warned ill never go with them again. As if life isn't hard enough they behave like this. Thanks!

Complete SCAM avoid at all costs

Cancelled my car insurance when I changed address then wanted £96 as part of the cancellation. Baring in mind these are brokers making a quick ‘buck’ by flogging substandard policies.

Avoid this company at all costs. I paid £376.75 in full on Tuesday this week. Due to a mix up with my NCD after 3 days, they told me I would need to cancel. They have told me they will issue a refund, for £209.98!!!
So, for 3 days, when the the car wasn't even used, they have robbed me of £166.77.
Patronising, arrogant, cocky telephone operators.
Seeking legal advice.

Negative experience , saw quite on compare the market, went to pay, would not accept payment so rang them and wasted a hr on the phone asking for repeated information and the price went up by £100.00. Poor customer service, misleading quote on site. Don’t waste your time… I could literally call these scammers!
