We always take the train from London Bridge to Robertsbridge then drive to Bexhill. The station is cute with a little library. It keeps our kid busy while waiting for the train.

The staff there is always helpful. The toilet is clean.

If you are going to London, you ought to cross the bridge without a lift.

Small village in East Sussex, some small shops, cafe, etc, main claim to fame is that it is the home of Gray Nichols company, world renown manufacturers of cricket bats.
Well worth a stroll around the village, but it doesn't take overlong
