Dishonesty is the worst thing with the staff of this post office. I asked my wife to send a small packet of computer memory to a friend using Tracked 24 service. When my wife got there and asked to mail by this service the staff offered if she wants an upgrade to 'Signed for' so my wife asked what's the price difference. The staff said '20p' so my wife said ok then let's use it then if it's such a small difference.

She came back home showed me the receipt so I can send tracking information to my friend and I was stunned at the cost. I was upset as I've sent a power supply few days ago, which weighted about 1.5 pounds and cost £4.79 for tracked 24 and the price my wife paid for the weight of 24 grams computer memory was £5.20. I was speechless so I went online to check that large letter tracked 24 should cost £3.50. That was £1.70 (48%) more and not the quoted '20p' difference.

Absolute dishonesty and unethical practice. It's shameful to have this kind of people in the community. We will not go there again and will rather walk further to another post office if we need to do any mailing.

Absolutely disgusting people same as scammers. Customers beware.

Most staff are lovely but there is one woman, I don’t know her name but she’s awful every time. Very rude and condescending, I try to use other branches now. She was also rude to my partner when he went in and she didn’t help him, so I went in later that day to try and get my item posted. When I asked her about the conversation they’d had she started shouting at me and told me not to “start” on her. The manager couldn’t care less about her attitude either.

The lady (50s/60s) behind the counter is incredibly rude and indiscreet. If you want all the other customers to know your business and to be treated like a disgusting inconvenience, then this is the post office for you.

I don't enjoy visiting this place, as a Rochester resident you have to park at Blue Boar Car Park and pay, which is the first frustration. Then there's the opening hours, which on more than one occasion have been different to the advertised opening hours, which means you have a waste of time and money. Then there's the fact my item that was not delivered (a CD by the way) was returned after four working days, days in which I WAS WORKING AND COULD NOT COLLECT. The lady I spoke to couldn't have come across more condescending and disinterested. I would recommend to avoid, BUT YOU DONT HAVE A CHOICE

Lady working the 19th of June at 4.40 pm is not nice to deal with, she kind of want to argue with customers.

Have used this post office many times, I'm usually served by an older gentleman who I believe is called Glen who is a pleasure, however unfortunately cannot say the same about Michele who I was served by today. Condescending attitude and then when I was grabbing some packing tape and medication for my grandma from the shop, I overheard her making things up about me to her colleague, framing me as a bad customer claiming I "got the hump" when she told me I didn't have enough postage on 2 of my items, which is not the case - i apologies as I had already explained I dint usually use stamps, but I had found these at home, and just paid the extra. Dropped their voices when they realised I was still on the premises.
