Recently attended the bottomless pizza and pasta night held in the Radish Restaurant. A great and relaxed vibe, suitable for a family dinner out, or an enjoyable date night.

The staff were kind and attentive, the food was excellent, and when they say all you can eat, they really mean it!

I will definitely be booking again in the future!

I can't praise Amanda and the team at Rutland garden village enough as I finally took the plunge today and did my first craft market stall which was being held at the garden center and what a lovely, friendly welcome I received on my arrival which continued throughout the event, the event is well organized and what a lovely community the crafters make too. I also have to mention the amazing food quality after visiting the restaurant on site for a hot chocolate and bacon roll which you could definitely tell the products used were of high quality and therefore extremely enjoyable. Thanks to Amanda and the team for making this such an enjoyable experience, I will definitely be back for more 😁 Naomi Frith of Burning Hearts Design

First time I have ever been here. Myself and two kids were hunting for pumpkins as everywhere had sold out. The lovely ladies here said that they had some that they were going to be making pumpkin soup with (they didn’t have any for sale) they gave one to each of my sons as a gift. I will definitely be going back. Lovely plant shop, restaurant, kids play area, pet shop and more. Thank you for saving the day!

We're frequent visitors to the garden village and during a particularly wet half term I took my kids along to a fairy garden workshop. The way it was run was excellent as it was very laid back and self-paced, all the materials were included in the cost and my kids (age 7 and 4) got to create amazing potted fairy gardens to bring home. It taking place in the cakery was brilliant too, because it gave us the excuse to stop and have a cake and a coffee to let the paint dry, then my kids kept going back to tinker with their accessories and embellishments, leaving me to enjoy my coffee from my table in full view. Then when we got home my kids carried on crafting with their gardens and playing with them. I hope the Rutland Garden Village keep putting on more workshops like this in the future. Really really enjoyed it, thank you very much!

My Mum and I visited today.
The man who does the outside plants was so lovely and most friendly as was the man in the shop who also had such great knowledge of the secateurs we were looking at and so very friendly and most helpful.

Went to the cakery at ashwell garden centre for some cake and coffee with my partner .

Disappointed with the service that was received this is because when we arrived we ordered coffee and two millionaire shortbreads (there were 4 available on the shelf) I then paid and we sat at a table waiting for the items .

Approximately 10-15 minutes had passed (baring in mind it wasn’t busy at all) still no coffee or cake had been received. Then a party for an event came in that appeared late as there were tables reserved for 12pm although when they arrived it was 12:50pm . This meant that they had took all the shortbread from the shelf and started to prepare it for the late event party . We were informed that there wasn’t any more shortbread left .

I stated that I believed that there was shortbread on the shelf , to which the response was “it has been used for the afternoon tea for the event party” . I wasn’t best pleased and said that we had placed our order before they arrived and we paid for our order .

We received a full refund but this service has put me and my partner from coming again as it’s disgusting how we paid for our order for it to be given to someone else that has attended late .

You should have better communication between your staff to make sure you have the goods for other customers as well as better preparation. If you knew there was an event having afternoon tea then you should have took them bits of cake off sale to anybody else .

So I hope you learn from this as you have lost some customers that regularly visit the cakery at the garden centre .

I was out and about delivering today, and come across this place, a great little bespoke cafe, a lovely garden centre with a restaurant tucked outside, pet shop, and a beauty salon, and also a play area for the little ones, and soon to be a bespoke kitchen / bedroom design store GMO interiors

If I could give less than one star I would. I booked the Santa brunch for my daughter and during the many back and forth emails I informed them of her dairy allergy and was told they could adapt the brunch to suit her. Sadly this wasn't the case and she ended up eating dairy and being unwell. We also found two hairs in the brunch and the whole afternoon was a total disaster. It wasn't as was advertised, very unorganised and not as was expected. To make it even worse, I habe contacted them by email, FB and Instagram to give my complaint in writing and have had no reply! Not very helpful at all
