I recently visited two show flats at the new Embankment Exchange development, guided by Hannah Joy from RW-Invest. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the build quality.

The first show flat I visited was a 2-bedroom apartment. The kitchen was open-plan and equipped with an electric cooker, a full-sized dishwasher, a fridge, and an integrated dryer and washing machine. However, there was no cupboard cover for the dryer and washing machine, which was a minor drawback. Additionally, there were only 3.5 full-sized wall-mounted cabinets in the kitchen, and they did not reach the ceiling as shown in some photos in the Embankment Exchange info pack. Despite this, I felt the storage space provided by these cabinets was sufficient for our needs.

The living room had laminate flooring, while the bedrooms were carpeted, adding a touch of luxury. Each bedroom featured an en-suite bathroom, a built-in wardrobe, and a working desk.

Overall, I was impressed with the amenities in both show flats, despite noticing the gap between the cabinet tops and the ceiling, which I found is common in many homes from my online research. Additionally, Hannah Joy was very professional and answered most of my questions. She even provided Personal Protective Equipment, including safety shoes and hi-vis jackets, for my wife and me.

In conclusion, I believe this new development has great potential. The build quality is good, and the amenities provided are satisfactory for modern living.
