Absolute joke! Delivery got pushed back 3 times finally got a delivery date. Took day off work to wait in donated old sofas to charity. On the day of delivery heard nothing so rang customer service only to be told there is £100 outstanding on my order so they took my sofa off the delivery. I wasn't aware of the £100 they called the store and they couldn't find reason for £100 and there was NO MANAGEMENT in store that day to speak too. Customer service took a look at my order summary only to be told the price of my swivel chair was £100 short then the actual price! So now I am left with no furniture and 3 kids on bank holiday week with no management to speak to to find out when I can get my furniture!! I was unsure of going to scs because my brother had problems with his delivery a few year back but that was after covid. However my experience just shows covid was a coincidence and the delivery service is always rubbish.

Absolute disgraceful company!
Only care about taking your money.
Been trying to cancel an order for 2days to be told it’s unable to be cancelled. After a few more days and a few more phone calls I managed to cancel the order but by this time they are saying the flooring has been cut so I lose 25% of the order. I even had to explain the terms and conditions to the sales rep to be able to get this refund. I will not be recommending SCS and will never be taking any business back to there door.

Disgusting. Bought an extended 3 year warranty on a leather 3 piece suit. After 5 months, the edge of the cushion flattened. I was told not to sit on that area. They refused to fix the issue. The suite cost over £3k. I will never buy from these people again.

Extremely good customer service from Jo at the Durham branch.
Jo helped us choose our sofa, let us have a look around at other sofas in our own time, in case we saw something else we might like more. Fully explained insurance cover and finance options. Helped us choose a colour and set up for our corner sofa. No pressure selling and a really lovely lady. Felt totally at ease. Coffee was a really nice touch. Just waiting for sofa to arrive but we can't wait.

Just one of those places you’d really rather not go, pushy salesman straight away just puts you off.

Only interested in getting the sales, no idea of how to engage with a customer and connect with them or really find out what it was I was after. I had seen an advert on the telle about jubilee offers, so I asked about them and he just said nah you don’t want them they’re awful quality, you get what you paid for..

At one point he offered a carpet with glitter in?! Another example of how had the service was as he didn’t have any idea what my taste was.

Then offered me discount when I was about to walk out. Nah, stick to franks where they have clear, transparent prices and salesman who want to do what’s right.
