Literally the worst company ever. I can't give zero stars but... I have been dealing with these useless jokers for close to three years whilst attempting to settle a subsidence claim. They do not understand the principle of talking to their customers let alone the simple idea of competency. It has taken me almost 2 years of the this time period to obtain a coherent schedule of works - and indeed I had to hire my own expert at my own expense to get things sorted. Even then their incompetent staff sat on the report, only giving me an answer at 4:45pm on Christmas Eve. Naturally they denied the expert was correct, only to be forced to visit the property by my insurance company (who hired them!) and acknowledge they'd been wrong all along.

I have called them, written to them, complained about them, taken them to the Ombudsman and still cannot get them to do their jobs properly. Run a mile if your insurance company recommends these absolute jokers. You can insist that others are used!! They are pathetic.

No fuss refund of repair cost:
I bought Home Emergency cover via Policy Expert and on 2 April 2025 the oil boiler stopped firing up. Sedgwick handled my claim and offered me the options of either waiting for their appointed boiler engineer to attend, or I could source my own. As my local boiler engineer is great with oil boilers, I opted for the option to appoint my own, and paid for the work myself. After sending the receipt to Sedgwick I had the money refunded into my account on the 15 April 2025. I highly recommend Sedgwick for their quality service, helpful staff, their honesty and efficiency.

If I could give zero stars, I would. There's a reason this company is only used for the bare minimum legally required (third-party insurance). Completely useless at what they do, with little understanding of what qualifies as a vehicle. I had to tell them that Lime Bikes are classed as a vehicle and they have third party insurance (you'd think insurers knew that). Their average one-star rating says it all. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I am so concerned about this company who have left me over a year waiting for my claim to be accepted and worse they are paid for this very service. I am appalled at my treatment no communication and my injury has worsened. I am aghast to see the numerous reviews citing similar experience and I want to know if we can take action against Sedgewicks. My claim handler has responded nonchalantly asking for repeat evidence after no response after receiving documents; and information from their client over 6 months ago. The delays are unacceptable and attempts to avoid supporting claim when the brand agreed supporting claim 2 years ago. I am so frustrated with being left in chronic pain and I requested for treatment. They have made efforts to delay and appear to be responsive but you will be abandoned and it is unethical. This on top of dealing with painful injury has affected me in every way and the very people who can appease that do the opposite. A year to respond, add a further 6 months is just not ethical practice?
When one raised a complaint they simply do not respond. Complaint was raised in February.
I would avoid using Sedgewicks. I will add I rarely give negative reviews. This is a caution to anyone; please read the reviews and take careful consideration.

DO NOT TOUCH WITH BARGEPOLE!!!!
Been waiting since Monday for emergency call out it is now Thursday night. Several failed call backs, lies about engineer coming out and even lodging formal Complaint with a call back had no reaction or response. Wast of money for a waste of space company! One star rating far too good!

Dreadful. They are supposed to be dealing with an Aviva claim, however they have bombarded me with messages and emails, telling me to book an appointment. I have tried 6 times and no times are available, AT NOT. None whatsoever! I then click to ask for a call and there is a message saying a claims handler will call within 2 hours. That was 3 days ago. Completely useless and causing Aviva huge reputational damage.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. No idea why this lot are used by insurance company's!! The loss adjustor assigned to us has basically gone awol when we need him most. Doesn't reply to emails or calls.

Its the people that give the impression of what the company is like and in this instance, the people (being our loss adjustor) indicates to me that this company doesnt care about the clients (who generally are going through very stressful and challenging times) at all. Absolutley awful company and wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy!

I think we should be allowed to give - star,
This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with, every person in this company doesn't know what they are doing, they keep lying about the information and they refuse to even log a formal complaint.
I would recommend every single person who deal with company should take them to ombudsman
