Sheepdrove Organic Farm & Green Events Venue - Hungerford

We stayed at Sheepdrove Woodend Lodge for a large family get together. Absolutely loved that all the bedrooms are a great size and have their own en-suites. This was amazing. Everything was really clean and in good condition. The heating didn’t seem to work at first but got going eventually. The log burner was such a nice touch and the grounds are really beautiful.
We had an issue with the dishwasher but the owners were really quick to come out and have a look, and to get a plumber to look at it on short notice!
The only downsides to the property we would note:
1) there’s no TV in the living area. This wasn’t much a deal breaker but was a shame as we wanted to do family movie night but no facilitators for this.
2) the living area and kitchen are just too small for big amounts of people, so while the bedrooms could actually have accommodated even more of us, the communal spaces were definitely jam packed. Theres not enough sofa seating and just not enough space to all sit together really unless round the dining table.
3) the extra living space area in Shorthorn came in really handy, especially when doing dinner because the one small oven in the main kitchen would not have been big enough, so the kitchenette in Shorthorn was helpful.

We would love to come back, but unfortunately we will be looking elsewhere at this time for somewhere with a bigger kitchen and lounge area for our group size (15ppl).
For those coming in smaller groups I cannot recommend the property more, it is absolutely lovely and we had a great time 🙂

This proved to be an ideal venue for our 50 th school reunion. Spacious and clean, kitchen very well equipped. We could have done with some shower gel in the bathrooms though. Nice teas and milk provided.

Excellent, straightforward, clean and comfortable getaway for a group of friends including four babies / toddlers. Fantastic communication, reasonable price, lovely peaceful and well thought out & equppied spaces and a brilliant and beautiful setting to have a walk around. Thank you!

We had a lovely weekend at this lovely property. The accommodation was very clean well maintained with lots of extra touches to make our stay comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

We had an all staff conference at this venue over 3 days for 120 people. The sun shone and the surroundings were beautiful. Plenty of breakout space for smaller groups and quieter conversations. Really impressed with the eco-credentials of the venue and Allison could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Also highly recommend Quintin Catering 🙂

A unique farm and venue where you will feel truly connected to nature. The open landscape of the downs is ideal for walking and the care shown to guests is very special.
