Malik was an absolute pleasure to deal with today. He’s extremely polite, helpful and patient when needed. I came here specifically as the staff are always so helpful and smile when they deal with me. They really go the extra mile, with gusto. I cannot recommend Max’s Naked Food and their instore Post Office highly enough.

I’m an extremely happy repeat customer and cannot see that changing soon.

Post office nothing to replace the closed main Postoffice. Usually just 1 person serving in kiosk.
The old PO used to have a queue with 3+ person serving.
On top of that the sorting office reduced hours.

Opening hours are stated as 8:30, whilst the convenience store was open I was told I cannot post my parcel until 9, so wasted half an hour of my time. Otherwise ok.

I wish all post offices were like this one. Peaceful music playing, shelves of post office items along with fill your own and packaged health food and sustainable products. Dishwasher tablets, Infinity Foods herbs and spices, bathroom products and ethical snacks. Quick service on the post office side and retail. Really nice people and a great alternative to the supermarket.

The shop itself is pretty well stocked with a nice variety of products, including some sustainable, refill items. The post office counter staff at the back are two of the most unlikeable men you will meet. No customer service skills, no friendliness and absolute jobsworths that don't even attempt to do anything beyond the bare basics.

I had once forgotten to attach a critical sticker to my parcel, an expensive watch I was selling; it needed it for insurance purposes. I ran home after realising and returned with the sticker. The very same guy, no more than 10 minutes after taking the parcel, lied to me and told me it had already been dispatched and that he couldn't give me the parcel temporarily to attach the sticker.

He eventually caved in after grovelling and persuasion, but why did he lie in the first place? It was directly behind him, exactly where he'd put it just minutes before. Horrible people, the sort that AI will soon have no problem in replacing since they are basically "computer says no" types anyway.

This is a fab post office - all staff are so friendly and helpful, efficient and accurate - I do my business banking there as a I run a local business and have a Co-op account, so as well as handling my mail needs, it's extremely useful and convenient from the banking point of view! They have always got time to smile and make you feel welcome. There is almost always a small queue because the services are so important and so many people use it, but the queue always moves swiftly because of the efficiency of the staff and I have never waited more than about 5 mins even at busy lunchtimes. Recommend this post office very highly and hope beyond hope that the powers that be see sense and don't go ahead with the rumoured plans to close it!!
