Would provide negative stars if possible.
Very unhelpful and extortionate costs. Had a chasing letter for Ground Rent issued whilst not having received the first letter. I was on holiday and so did not pay, thinking I would be able to clear this on my return (Lesson Learnt as a new owner and first time dealing with them).
Have now received a £138 collection costs charge.
Apparently this is split in to £50 for use of a computer and printing plus an additional £68 for an electronic signature from a manager (Name is eligible and no Print of name to reference the manager).
The remaining £20 allocation I'm unaware of.
Collection costs are over half the costs of the Ground Rent itself.

I would suggest avoiding Simarc if possible if these are the business rates they apply.

During a recent sale of an apartment lease, it became necessary at the last minute to agree a Deed of Variation signed by all involved parties. It was important to finalise this Deed Of Variation in order to complete the sale which, for a number of reasons, was urgently needed. This required the help of Simarc Property Management Ltd to co-ordinate the signatures required between the Freeholder, their Solicitors, the Managing Agent and the current lease holders. The very positive, prompt and friendly assistance provided by both Andrea Williams and Sharon Yard of Simarc to coordinate the Deed of Variation signatures urgently from all parties, was exemplary. They both went out of their way to ensure that the document was finalised urgently whilst complying with all legal requirements. This enabled the lease sale to be completed within the deadline requested and both the seller and buyer owe them a debt of gratitude. Their exceptional, high quality service is highly recommended by all concerned.

Kayleigh has been working on collecting the information to produce a Landlord Certificate as a requirement for my property sale. In order to do this she required input from an external management company. This was not easy as they were rather uncooperative in the production of the information they held. However Kayleigh, in the face of unhelpful responses from them, maintained a polite but forthright approach to obtain what she needed to get from them and successfully conclude the preparation of the required document.

Very high costs and very slow administration, you have to chase them every step of the way to get a lease extension completed in the time frame they stipulate!. When you phone, most staff sound fed up and over worked.

If I could give zero I would. Lack of organisation and inadequate professional communication. Slack. Their business is clearly just a cash cow for someone and they clearly give zero dulars about the service they provide.

Had a great experience with Simarc, espacially with Kayleigh. During my sale process I was told to obtain a Landlord's Certificate, however my solicitors failed to notify me earlier than a week before planned completion. My ongoing purchase was in a risk of falling through, if I had not completed my sale within that time frame. I was mortified when I was told, it could take up to 4 weeks to produce this document. I called Simarc and was put through to Kayleigh. She took the time to listen and understand my situation, patiently answered all my questions and million phone calls I made to Simarc. Every interaction was handled professionally yet friendly, without a robotic or unpleasant attitude so common nowadays.
Her assistance was crucial in securing my sale and next purchase, and if it was not for Kayleigh's empathy and "can do" attitude, I wouldn't be a happy owner of a new property.
