It’s hard not to like this course. Welcomed by Max and his team into their family run bakery, you know from the start it will be fun.
Learning has to be entertaining and educational and Max does this in spades. He’s a natural teacher and mixed up the fun of getting covered in sourdough with the science and some history. Even something about the ancient medieval connections of Lechlade and the Thames valley.
Thank you Sourdough Revolution you have inspired me with your enthusiasm and encouragement to have a go. I took my unbaked loaf home and baked it the next morning.

Great fun, learned lots and then ate it! Can’t wait for the next course.

Very cozy and inviting bakery 🥯 and cafe ☕️. 🍄‍🟫mushroom pastry was tasty and coffee ☕️ great.

Lost one star because it is overpriced. Nice artisan products good selection as sweet and savoury and hot food available, cosy little place would like to go back definitely. Friendly staff and the place is also dog friendly. I would recommend the meaty toastie with pickles and mustard.

I recently took part in the Sourdough Express (Half Day) with Sourdough Revolution Baking School. It was a superb course. We learned to bake some lovely Sourdough, made a starter which we then took home to start to use. Max is a great teacher and gave us loads of background information into the process and the wheats we were using. Really interesting. I'd recommend this course.

Came here for breakfast and it was absolutely lovely. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the smell of freshly baked bread. The toast had the perfect texture. And the interior is nice and cozy

Best sourdough bread you’ll find, coupled together with other excellent food and great staff. The perfect place for a bite to eat for breakfast (bacon sandwich, sausage roll, coffee), lunch (fresh salad, chicken cat sandwich & amazing pizzas. Did I forget to mention the ice cream to? A hidden gem here in the Cotswolds.

Cosy, inviting, tasty food, especially the cinnamon bun!! I have no photo of it, because it was devoured inexcusably fast 😄
