As I live so far away all the viewings were managed by the agent and I had no cause for concern. I was kept updated on all aspects of the viewing process and took advice on how to proceed when I had more than one offer on the table.
The house had an offer accepted within two weeks of being put on the market and has now completed.
Time was given to me between exchange and completion to empty the property and all went smoothly.

Can’t thanks the team enough for selling our house for the price we wanted in such a short timeframe. Mark, Jack and Harriet were brilliant during the process from taking the pictures for the advert, handling the viewings and the communication during the completion stage.

I had a really bad experience with Stone Young. At the start, they were very professional and convincing, which made me choose them over other agents. However, once I signed the contract, things changed completely. Communication became very poor, and it felt like they no longer cared about the sale process. I often had to handle appointments myself, and once, a buyer even showed up at my house without any notice or anyone from the agency accompanying them. There were also many last-minute cancellations.

As a result, the property stayed unsold for over four months with just one offer, which was far below the asking price. To cancel the contract, I had to give 28 days’ notice, during which time they did nothing to help. Things got even worse when I decided to let the property instead of selling it — they tried to pressure me into letting it through them and attempted to undervalue the rental price without giving any reasonable justification.

My advice is to avoid this agency completely. I deeply regret choosing them and hope others don’t have to go through the same bad experience.
