I don’t often leave reviews, but I felt compelled to in this instance. I was looking to get into the world of selvage denim and came across Stuart’s. I decided to visit the store and met Harvey, who presented me with a couple of great options. The customer service I received was among the best I’ve ever experienced. Harvey was incredibly knowledgeable about Japanese selvage denim and was patient as I tried on various cuts and brands. I’ll definitely be returning for another pair in the future. I highly recommend them!

Called the the Shop, spoke to Harvey on Tuesday I wanted to know the true sizes of the Gabicci leather jacket. Harvey ordered from the warehouse two jackets that I was interested in he asked me my size. i said I will come in the next day to try the jackets .Both jacket's were there the next day, and I brought one. Amazing service 🙌🏿

Just dealt with these guys, had an issue with my order, even after having it a few weeks, they took it back, check for a replacement, sent me pictures to ensure it was correct and in the right condition, next day delivered it once I’d responded to the pictures they had sent. A1 customer service, would absolutely use these guys again. Excellent service and a great experience dealing with them.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience after purchasing some boots online.
I specified that the item could be placed in a safe space, specifically my porch. The DPD driver put the item in my porch but then took my wheelie bin and placed it in front of the package, making it very clear that someone was trying to hide something of value. The item was of course stolen.
I understand that there is some degree of responsibility on my end, as I agreed for the item to be left in a safe space. However, DPD didn’t follow instructions given. And therefore it wasn’t my FULL responsibility.
After contacted Stuart’s & their parent company, they were utterly useless in resolving the matter. They refused to chase DPD further and said I couldn’t prove the driver moved the bin. Of course I can’t prove this, but then equally who’s to say the delivery driver didn’t just steal the package? Common sense should be used. The driver likely left the package there and wheeled the bin to the front door in a counterproductive attempt to conceal the package.
This was all very frustrating. I wasn’t really expecting a refund, maybe just a small voucher towards buying another pair. Instead, Stuart’s made their profit and I was empty handed.
I would suggest purchasing items elsewhere. As if any problems come up with delivery, you’re pretty much hung out to dry.

It's always nice to see an independent store doing so well on any High Street. Having known about this legendary store for quite a while, I had my first visit there today and left feeling I had been expertly helped. The person advising me suggested a Large in the shirt I was looking at and a Medium for the sweater that caught my eye. He was immediately right on both counts and that is good expertise! This is a relatively small store but with a large and varied stock, all excellently chosen. The place is really friendly and it won't be long until I return. On that occasion I'll use Shepherds Bush Market Station immediately nearby, rather than the less convenient Shepherds Bush which is also a fairly confusing place!

I understand paying for postage if I return an item. But charging me "restocking fee" is disgusting. Another crook posing as busines.
Response to Stuarts: what a terrible liar you are. I paid 200 for the jacket and no free postage was offered- I paid 3.95 for it- do you want me to include a receipt?
And since I PAID for postage - how dare you say you're reclaiming the cost of it?
And I didn't return it simply because I didn't like it- the item was way smaller than the one I tried on in store and didn't fit me, despite being the same size. Manufacturing fault. I opted for a refund and bought another jacket that I tried on first, so I don't have to waste more time sending stuff back and forth.

Brilliant customer service, after browsing the website I saw the jacket I wanted and headed to the store. Unfortunately, the jacket was not in the store that day but I was advised to return the following day and the jacket will be there. True to their word, everything went smoothly. Efficient service, will be returning on a yearly basis when I visit from across the pond 👍
