I tried T H Baker after being quoted £40.00 for a new battery for a £13.30 Casio from Argos. Great little watch, so I took it toTHB and got it repaired for £15.00. In the meantime bought a G-SHOCK but couldn't set it up. Young man in shop spent some time sorting it out and got it working. No charge. Brilliant service!

I came into the store last weekend looking to purchase a watch. I wasn’t too sure on what exactly I was looking for, however I was helped by a lovely and attentive assistant, Gerda. She took me through all options and was very knowledgable. I’m very happy with my purchase and the service provided. Would highly recommend.

Have had multiple poor experiences since buying an engagement ring here. I originally was told that the stone in the ring I was interested in was a completely different stone to the actual one (luckily I checked myself as I was doubtful). When my partner came to have the ring fitted she wanted a smaller fit and the customer advisor kept pushing her to go to a bigger size. When the ring came it was too loose. I took it back to get it resized and was told it would be done for free. When I went back I was told that there was a charge to collect it, when I challenged this it was eventually agreed to be done for free. Unfortunately the ring still didn't fit, so we went back to get it altered. We asked how much it would be to get two sizing dots added and were quoted £50. When my partner went to collect it, the price had gone up to £90. Only after threatening to speak to the owner was the price reduced again. She was also given the ring by a new assistant who she hadn't met before who didn't ask for any proof of identity. This could easily result in someone picking up someone else's jewellery just by saying their name. Collection times were also often twice as long as intially quoted multiple times throughout. Also, the customer assistants working there often look miserable and one of the ladies in particular gives a hostile impression.

I took in a Seiko watch to have the strap altered, the guy in store could not do it so they brought in a Horologist who came in and took my watch away and altered it to make it fit. He then had to take it away again as it was too tight. They were all superb in the this shop, customer service at its best. It was also 2nd jan 2025 so once you factor in the Xmas and New Year hangover it made me more impressed. The word Fantastic does not have enough letters to expressed how well we were looked after in The Reigate shop. Happy New Year to you all !!!!!!

Unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience buying a watch from this store. The lady who served me gave me the impression that she looked down on me just because I’m not white. When I decided to buy the watch, I was told there was no fresh one from the stock so I was given the display unit one, where I knew for a fact that I called the store 3 days before I went there and one of the store staff told me that the store had at least 3 units of the watch type I wanted. Even more, when I finished with my purchasing and walked out from the store and got back home, they didn’t give me the official international warranty card (physical one) that should have come with the watch and the box. When I called the store back, they said that the watch manufacturer didn’t give the physical warranty card anymore and I could just use the receipt as proof of purchase and services purpose. This was so misleading and confusing, where in fact I did remember the lady who served me held some kind of card that looked like the warranty card when she asked me about my details to register the information online. I suspected that the actual warranty card was indeed there in the box, but the lady forgot to put it back after my data registration and somehow lost it. This is so irresponsible of them. I also know for a fact that the watch manufacturer still indeed gives a physical warranty card inside the box as part of their general procedure. I knew exactly about this because I did visit Geneva just recently and I bought a watch there, right at the flagship store and manufacture place of the watch.
Another T H Baker store staff that made some calls with me was a bit nicer, told me that they have requested a new warranty card directly from the manufacturer in Gevena to be sent to their store to be then sent to me. However, this promise had been made like months ago and until now I haven’t received the promised warranty card yet, after almost 3 months since I purchased the watch from them. Really not recommended to buy anything from this store.

I bought my first proper swiss watch from here not too long ago (Tissot PRX Green Quartz), and I was absolutely blown away by the service. This watch was a big deal for me and Sam from T H Baker in Reigate made it worth every penny. Would recommend this place to anybody!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the service . Took our watch to obtain a quotation for repair. We were told we would get the quote within 2 weeks. Unfortunately after 4 weeks waiting for a response we called them to find out that the person who does the quotes was away on holiday. I then waited another 3 weeks and was told that they didn’t have my number mobile number. I therefore provided my number again and was told it would be another 2 weeks. 4 weeks later still no call and when I called them they asked for my number again. I collected my watch and was told that if I took the watch away the quote would change to a new price ? Sorry this is very poor service.
