Paid almost £500 for a mac book screen replacement after mine cracked with 12 month warranty. It lasted a few months screen suddenly went black but laptop itself worked fine, I took it in for an assessment. They said it was my fault and they took my laptop apart. They had it for a few weeks with no communication. Every time I called it was a shambles, people saying different things or not wanting the tell the whole truth and a promise of a call back (nothing). The manager said it wasn’t the screen, but then ordered a new one without saying and wanted £700 for it. It was all so confusing and I lost trust in them completely.

They then refused to return it to me as it was disassembled. Another few weeks and 3 times going back into the shop. I just had to wait until they put it back as they were so untrustworthy. You can tell the shop assistants and worker in there mean well but he seems under a lot of pressure.

Now I have it back, I had to connect it to a monitor BUT it burns up SO badly it’s not even usable.

I took it to official Apple and they have sent a report about all of the incorrect pieces and incorrect tampering. Sadly these people don’t know what they are doing and they have broken my laptop. The cost for Apple to fix this is over £1K. I’ve not been able to work since this has happened as I can’t afford a new laptop or repairs.

They don’t respond to emails about this either. So I will need to report to trading standards

Absolutely terrible, they had my item for over 3 weeks, I paid for the fix once as they said it had been done but it still didn't work when I got it home, they hadn't even tested it for functionality before I collected it. I took it back, they had it for another 2 weeks, still no fix, they said it needed another part at more expense but I decided to take it somewhere else instead and get a refund for the fix they did. Another shop fixed it in 1 day and said the Tech Repair Clinic had soldered the new charging point incorrectly. I have still not managed to get my refund as the manager is never there and he is apparently the only one who can approve this even though he told me on the phone that I could have the money back. I have reported them to trading standards. Would not recommend at all. I wouldn't give them any stars but couldn't post this without giving them one!

Hannah repaired my son’s iPhone 11 screen after he dropped it and broke his screen. Hannah discussed the price with me and it was the best I’d been quoted as I had shopped around first. The screen is impeccable and you wouldn’t even know it was a replacement. I took my iPhone 14 Pro to Tech Repair Clinic Abingdon for a charging issue. They quoted me £85 and said it would take three days to fix. That seemed excessive, so I got a second opinion.

I went to another repair shop near the post office, where they quickly diagnosed the problem as a dirty charging port. They cleaned it on the spot and only charged £10. Problem solved in minutes.

I feel completely misled by Tech Repair Clinic. Either they didn’t bother to check properly, or they were trying to upsell an unnecessary repair. Either way, I would not recommend this place.

Save your time and money—look elsewhere.

Doesn't bother communicating/giving updates, waited 6 weeks for my laptop to be repaired, only for it to not come back with my charger. Had to chase up further. On top of this I had to chase up multiple times just to see if they were doing their job.

The 2nd time I have used these guys when my I/phone wasn’t charging properly. I had gone to an another place not far from here, and straight away they were asking for £25 without having a proper look. I thought this isn’t right and came to Tech Repair Clinic who solved the problem in less than a minute by giving my charging port a thorough clean no cost involved. All perfect again.I know where to go in future. Great service.
