I had a lovely stay here in room 6. It's a small but serviceable room with all I needed. Quiet, comfortable and clean with a decent hot shower and a good mattress for a happy night's sleep. The pub itself is in a lovely countryside location and the food was great. I had the green curry pizza. Nice to have a Cornish beer in the evening to go with it. But the main thing about this pub that really impressed me was the way staff looked after customers. They were really friendly and smiley and so welcoming and positive; a true asset to the pub and the local area. I highly recommend. Oh and the breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Full English with local ingredients and amazingly tasty sausage and bacon. The chef was a friendly chap too, so top marks all round.

The Bell was recommended to me by friends who really enjoyed the regular menu and gave great feedback about the food, place, and service.
And now I see why! I've just taken my Dad and family here for Father's Day. We all really enjoyed our meals! My Dad is hard to please and had the roast beef, and he said it was the best pub roast he's ever had!!
The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and really efficient.
It's a great dog friendly place. One of the staff was very kind to our dog who can be a bit shy so he also really enjoyed himself.
For the quality and amount of food it is very reasonably priced. We've all left feeling completely full!
We will be back to try the desserts as they looked great, too!

This is a lovely pub with rooms, think Motel style for the rooms. The staff were brilliant and looked after us. If we had been there earlier (closed at 9pm on Sunday night) I expect we would have found a bustling local pub with a cracking restaurant, but confirming that will need to wait for next time

We stayed at The Bell for a night as we were attending a wedding not far away.
We had a lovely warm welcome, a clean and bright room and a fantastic breakfast in the morning.
A special mention to the lady who was on breakfast service this morning. We didn't catch her name but she was wonderfully attentive and such a warm and friendly person with everyone. She also had some amazing body art!
We will definitely be returning for a meal and a stay again sometime in the future. Thank you for a lovely time x

Sunday lunch on a busy Mother's Day and we couldn't have asked for more. Such a pretty building and the loveliest welcome. Every member of staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The food was all delicious and plentiful. Loved the 'family style' veg. Thank you. We'll be back.

Stayed here a few times for a couple of nights whilst working in the area.
The self contained rooms are compact but very comfortable. Superb shower and dreamy king sized bed. Maybe more regular deep cleaning would elevate the experience?
The pub itself is obviously an ancient building that has been sensitively restored and modernised. Plenty of room to spread out and never felt crowded even when busy.
Varied evening menu, the generously sized, freshly made pizzas seem to be a hit. Nicely done pub classics available. Portions of chilli and curries seemed a bit mean.
Reliably good cooked breakfast in the morning, would have been better if served more promptly.
Thanks to all the friendly staff for an enjoyable stay.

The food here is incredible. Lovely atmosphere with real fresh flowers and real candles. Lovely light and gracefully decorated place. The food is amazing quality and the portions are very generous. I bring people here when we’re local and everyone is so happy!
