I came to this hospital in May 2020.
I witnessed incompetent African nurses who were unable to fully carry out their duties, falsified physical observation's but this went unnoticed, which begs the question, how was the ward actually managed by Deana Rylance?
I was afraid to be a Muslim and Doctor Adrian Vann and other nurses were not fair, targeting Muslim's such as Junior Doctor Huda Kaliph who could be influenced by other Muslim's since she wore a hijab to cover her head like Bobby. I was targeted by Doctor Adrian Vann (recordings available) who made an incorrect diagnosis where he failed to listen to me and my concerns hence why I boycotted ward rounds and instead held ward rounds with junior doctors.
The Bradgate Mental Unit had a death prevention notice and were during my stay negligent in many ways. I witnessed 2 people who tried to kill themselves and that is negligence for a hospital that shouldn't allow their patients to even make an attempt, just as I made an attempt on my life as a result of medication being reviewed late together with the Doctors failure to make note of medication having uncontrollable
side-effects effects.
The hospital nurses & doctors fail to listen to patients and do not even prescribe the right medication as and when needed by the patient making them suffer with them being vulnerable, the hospital are good misdiagnosing their patients.
Hospital manager, Elizabeth Compton was unable to answer certain questions and proved to be lacking an insight in to how poor this hospital was actually managed.
Nurses such as Joshua Proctor, Peter Hurst, Dr Adrian Vann and Dr Steptoe are proven liars who take full advantage of patients vulnerability just as they did with mine. The hospital doctor's and nurses fabricate reports and falsify statements, trying to justify medication for wanting to sell their story to the Leicester Mercury where my electronic devices were confiscated. The Bradgate Unit allowed patients to walk in with blades, bottles of alcohol and weapons without checking them just as I have witnessed myself.
I witnessed a Hindu man (not Hindutva) sympathising with Al Qaeda who carried with him a blade, which went unnoticed and he wasn't referred to PREVENT. It is a disgrace for the Bradgate Mental Unit to look after and care for you.
An example of sheer stupidity is the head nurse in charge named Deana Rylance and an African nurse named Loreta both suggesting the use of scissors to cut nails with and the head nurse Deana Rylance handing them to patients like me. I could have killed myself as well as others.
Joseph Narh-Davis is clumsy and failed to check patients after returning from leave, overpaid and underworked.
There were no risk assessments conducted in the ward or risk assessments followed. Individuals were in a position to assault other patients just as I was assaulted, proving that this hospital failed in their duty of care to protect me with a lack of supervision. A nurse named Joshua Proctor abused his role and lied a number of times to protect himself regarding section rights.
The hospital is not at all Muslim friendly and they did not even mark Islamic days on the walls with decorations but instead marked every other religious occasion. All types of discrimination by hospital nurses and doctors. The doctors fail to understand patients but will be quick to medicate patients who are unable to make sense of things and do not give them the time to settle in a new environment.
Advice for other patients, be prepared to take notes and if possible recordings as it was evident there was widespread malpractice during my stay and there should be a thorough investigation in to how this inadequate rated hospital is managed.
This hospital is full of cover ups and fabricating & falsifying statements. They should be held to account for misdiagnosing patients and taking advantage of their vulnerability just as they have with me.
Bobby (Muslim) & Vikash were the only nurses I could trust with Dr Huda Kaliph & Fayaz Amir due to my faith.
