I called into the branch on Friday.I needed help initiating a ATM dispute.I wasn't getting anywhere with the online banking staff. A very helpful guy ( didn't get his name ) took the relevant details and initiated the ATM dispute for me to my great relief.Thank you staff at tha Manchester Branch.

To reiterate what Rosemary Said: All true. With me, I still can't pay for anything online, as staff on the phone seem unable to set up visa click safe despite 4 calls to the effect & being told it's correct. it gets worse though, money has gone out of my bank from a card that should have been blocked (I had it confirmed blocked regarding fraud). I find that I spend hours on the phone whenever i need to try to solve anything, without actually getting anywhere. Why in this day & age can a blocked card still be active & why can I not pay online for stuff? & as for the app it has an almost uncanny ability of being offline whenever I need to send money or view my accounts. I have no confidence in this bank anymore to keep my funds safe, & allow me to manage my finds, or do anything right. I will be coming in next week to close all my accounts - it's beyond a joke.

The app is always down cannot login for days and your secure message feature sucks does not even work on chrome if you use web browser. You have allowed a transaction to go through my account which should have been cancelled weeks ago. Now I have to wait hours on the phone due to your poor customer service and behind the times Internet banking app. I have previously mentioned I am not happy with service at bank therefore after being a customer for over 20 years I will be leaving once my business account card comes midweek

They do not help customers who have been a victim of fraud and only care about money. Only people who helped was victim support. I make it clear if my money from the fraud and money that has been taken without my permission is not paid back to myself by Friday I will be contacting the FCA trading standards and media about this rogue trading from co op bank

This response does not solve my issue I will be taking further action

Dealing with this branch has been excellent. I had to do several transactions face to face due to loss of cards and details and the common sense, efficiency and patience of the staff there are of the highest standard. Manager leads by example and it clearly works. Keep up the great work. We need our branches! 🙂

Always good service. But I want to point out 2 staff members who make me smile. Sorry I do not know names (Both women).

The first person has darker skin and black hair, she always smiles and engages in a conversation. It has now got to the point where today, she stepped aside for a second to say hello to me - more specifically "Oh it's you, hi". Very welcoming, friendly and positive! This makes me feel comfortable in your premises, and safe. Can turn a boring dark day into a great day!

The second person has blonde hair and has/has small rash-like spots on her arms (these are cute and unique by the way!), she didn't engage much into a conversation, however I noticed that she folded up the bags I gave her - before handing back to me. This was unnecessary as they were going into my backpack. However, this displayed care being given towards me, which is very appreciated as a customer (it also made me smile and laugh a little).

Still Puzzles me Why the Branch at the Bank HQ near Victoria was closed
Branch moved to a smaller and less accessible Building, And no Cash machine as its a listed building.
The same reasons the previous tenants Abbey National/Santander moved our and relocated to Bigger premises on Piccadilly Gardens.
