The Distractions were incredible from the moment we booked them until the wedding ended. Very responsive, always happy to help with our endless questions and on the day they were absolutely brilliant. We had them for our ceremony music, Sax and tracks during the reception and then also had roaming sets during the dinner and then of course the full band for the party. They were by far the most complimented part of the wedding. We had Dwayne and Holly as our singers and they were absolutely incredible but the whole band and band managers were 10/10. We couldn’t recommend them enough.

We Booked the Distractions Band for our wedding.we couldn't have made a better decision. Without a doubt the best wedding band we have ever experienced!! From the professionalism and communication of Joe and his team to the talent of the musicians and singers.
They really knew how to bring the party atmosphere and lived the interactions with the crowd.

When we initially started planning our wedding one of biggest worries was choosing a band that would fit, that would work, bring the energy and ensure our guests had a night to remember. The Distractions did all of the above and more. So professional and efficient, Joseph was amazing, especially during what can be known as a fairly hectic experience. He was always there to re assure and we had several conversations on the set up, the set list, how it all ran and of course the first dance. Honestly was an absolute pleasure to work with, everything on the day was seem less, the guys looked great and sounded great. Every single guest commented on how great the band were and how they absolutely made it! Thank you guys so much, we are already looking for an excuse to book you again!

The Distractions were unbelievably good as our wedding band! They had everyone on their feet and dancing the entire day and night, and made such an incredible atmosphere. Dwayne’s singing was amazing, their Jewish dancing set was fantastic and we were so grateful to the whole band for learning new songs for us and tailoring the setlist to make it feel personal to us. We’d definitely recommend them to anyone.

Wow! What can we say, the Distractions Band played at our wedding on 29th March 2025 in Cornwall and they were incredible as always! Not one of our guests gave a bad comment, everyone absolutely loved you guys and we are so grateful to have the memories! We would highly recommend you to anyone! Used these guys for our wedding celebration last night. Absolutely incredible service from start to finish, great communication from Joe and the team right from booking through to the end of the night, telephone call, zoom meeting prior to talk about our hopes and wishes for the evening, great communication on the day, no stress at all everything was sorted for us. On the night, vocalist Dwayne and the band were all fantastic, we had so many people asking for the band’s card or contact info so they could book in the future. The live music was the absolute highlight of our night and we are still buzzing! Didn’t want it to end. If you spend money on one thing for your celebration, it should be this! Polly and Tilly xx

The Distractions were incredible from start to finish for our wedding day. Even before the day, their attention to detail and finding out exactly what you want/need from them on the day was amazing but on the actual day, it was flawless and faultless. Everyone loved the music and vibe they brought and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. We have used The Distractions for a small party before but for our wedding it was a long long day for them all and you wouldn’t have known they’d been with us for hours (I’m sure most would be exhausted after 12+ hours). Thank you for making our day so special, we couldn’t be more grateful and pleased.
