The last Saturday (21/12/2024 before Christmas and one last chance to see Santa so great idea to do breakfast with Santa, Great service from start to finish, the kids pancakes…. The kids loved them!!! The kids loved the interaction with Santa and it was the first time my youngest has actually spoke to Santa and had a conversation!!! The food was great!!!! The Eggs Benedict was perfect with plenty of sauce just how I like it!!! Great family relaxed feel!!! We enjoyed our “breakfast with Santa” keep up the good work!!!

The food was nice, but I'm not sure it was worth the price. The car park was very busy and people parked where there wasn't spaces making it very tight. The staff were nice though.

High end! The atmosphere is just so lovely and warming to be in. The staff are so lovely and very on hand. They always checking in and get you anything you need. For a “pub” this is definitely high end and bit more posh. For 4 people with multiple drinks and dessert was only £112. The only thing is the menu is very limited and the vegetation options or even chicken options are limited. I ended up only getting a few sides to eat.

We were given a generous voucher to use at The Forge so we pushed the host out with a Ribeye steak and mixed grill. The plates were hot. The food was hot. Excellent table service. It was a busy Friday but every thing was spit on. I can’t have dairy products and I asked them to cook it without butter which they did.

Stopped off here whilst doing a walk in the area as was recommended as a great local pub. We hadn't book but staff allowed us to sit outside which was great as weather was lovely and warm. We both had a roast Sunday lunch which was around £19 and a pint of Phoenix £4.60. Phoenix was a lovely refreshing pint which had a fruity flavour and was very nice to drink. After waiting about 30 minutes we chased the food and it arrived soon afterwards. Really great quality. Meat was tasty and roast potatoes were excellent, very tasty and flavourful. Vegetables were also great and very well cooked. Overall really great food and drink and would recommend.

We arrived 2 mins before the kitchen closed and the staff were great! So accommodating and we managed to order a few nibbles which were all so delicious! We’re not local but will definitely make the journey back as we loved it so much!

What a lovely little pub restaurant, a lovely interior, warm and friendly staff, who can't help you enough. The food was really nice and the portions were really good. Set in a lovely village. I highly recommend it. It's definitely worth a visit.

First time at the Forge Inn, the decor inside gives it a warm home feeling. Food was good quality and portion size. Staff were friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you not been before.
