This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend them to anyone.
They were appointed by United Utilities to fix under floor damage caused by air bricks closing.
The problems began straight away, the surveyor appointed was rude , unprofessional and inconsistent in her explanation when complaints were made about the standard of the work.
No outside toilet was put in until 3 months into the job, and as a result tradesmen have been using the bathroom when I was told before the job started that upstairs would be sealed off and no one would be allowed upstairs.
When I queried this Kim, the senior surveyor stated that the tradesmen went home to use the toilet and blamed my elderly father for using the toilet, who had just had a knee operation and couldn't actually get upstairs.

Poor finishing on the job, have damaged an original door in my home due to bad workmanship. They sent another workman out to repair it by cutting the door further, when I said no to this they let themselves into my property and cut the door down anyway despite me explicitly stating I did not want them to do this.
The job is still ongoing and has caused so much stress and anxiety by the poor attitude of senior surveyor and constant failings to complete work to a satisfactory standard.
As a result of this I have refused to give them a set of keys and will not allow them into my home unsupervised.
I would give them no stars and would keep well away from this company if you wish to deal with professional people .

Horrendous company. The issues that have been caused made a few days job turn into 4 months. Ive had to complain on many occasions and got told im the only one who complains. Items have been damaged which they deny. The surveyor is extremely rude and tells many lies. I wouldn't ever recommend this company even if they worked for free. Im left with a damaged oven, dented fridge freezer, wonky floor and they just don't care. The overhangs were 2cm different on one side and when I told the surveyor he said they had to be like that. After me getting outside advice I was informed they should of been scribed. These have been rectified but if I hadn't of got outside advice id be left with them too. Whole jobs been a nightmare. I can't fully blame the workmen as they were constantly under severe pressure by the surveyor who would phone screaming at them to hurry up or would make them cut the job short to go somewhere else.

I worked here for a while doing I.T, absolutely loved my job to bits n would love to work with yourselves again in the future, whether it be with I.T or Photography/Videography/Media/Drone stuff. Except, when I was offered future work in the form of flying drones for Drone Surveying, I had a meeting with one of the directors, Jay, who'm I have a feeling doesn't like me, not sure. Liam was a great guy, cant fault him, he's a great director and person in general to have around and I enjoyed being there quite alot when he was around. All round top bloke. Glen is an alright guy too, not sure if he is still working there though for health reasons.

As my I.T employment came to an end abruptly as I'd been used on the government "Kickstart Scheme" where the gov pays the company I think half or more of the employee's wages and the company gets to basically get cheap labour. Initially I figured they wouldnt be the type to just sack me off after the 6 months, but I figured wrong. They strung me along with false promises of oh you'll get this, that, we'll do this for you, you get that. But then when it came to it, it NEVER happened. I was also thrown in the deep end with ZERO training as the guy they had contracted there couldnt be bothered and said its sink or swim. I did eventually swim but it took a while. Once I adjusted though I felt I actually was doing a really good job and could've been doing more however they didn't see a need for me apparently. I was also initially hired on a 17k contract weirdly which they then changed to a minimum wage for a under 21 person 2 days into the job. The HR woman Angela was rude or funny with me I felt, but basically everybody else in the office were amazing people., loved working with them and wish them well in life honestly. I think there may just be some serious managerial issues that need addressing unfortunately. I think in the hands of Liam the company has great potential but with the influence of the Calverts I think it is being led astray leading to corners being cut and cheaping out on certain things.

They phoned me on/shortly after my birthday when I was on holiday annual leave by phoning me and basically saying hey don't come back good luck bye.I had exchanged emails with Liam previously regarding drone flights and he did show great enthusiasm towards actually using us, however when he left to go climb Mt. Everest, Jay was left running the show and Glen was off ill. They had invited me in for a meeting and when I went, I was greeted with Jay and his son JJ and we agreed upon approximately a weeks worth of work, contracted to be insured over a period of that week or so with CoverDrone which costs money to fly commercial operations, and we agreed upon a price, everything seemed great, we shook hands on it and as far as I was concerned everything was a go. Except then it went radio silent. Literally nothing. Heared nothing from anybody for like two weeks til finally one of them popped up and was like "Hey your services are no longer required" basically. Which, to me was entirely unprofessional to shake on/agree upon some work to then be ghosted and ignored and then just told I'm not needed.

This company has helped me through a very difficult time following a housefire. They cleared and cleaned the house after a detailed walk through with myself and then returned what could be salvaged nicely boxed up. Can't thank them enough 🙂

Awful awful company. The standard of work is shocking, organisation is terrible. If your insurance company gives you options of other companies, take them. Please see below a finished plastered wall 🙁

XX EDIT XX. In respect to your response, that is an awful lie and you should just hold your hands up to a bad plastering job (the same as the rendering you came to redo). This room is the brightest in the house with a huge window!! The reason we had not noticed it for this long is that we had a temporary roller blind fitted and we only noticed when new curtains fitted and when drawn closed, the angled light then shows off the wall!!

Still dealing with them several months later, probably the worst experience I've had. So many issues still not resolved and ones that are looked at become different issues. Communication is bad,
really bad. I can't wait till its over. I feel as though I shouldn't of even of made the claim. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Update. We are now going to the Financial services Onbudsman as 4 months have gone and still nothing has been done. I would highly recommend not using this Company

Excellent service from this company appointed by my insurers to repair damage caused by a kitchen ceiling leak. The tradespeople were all very professional and courteous, working to a written timetable of works, and did a great job. They were punctual and always kept me updated if there was a change in schedule. Very impressed and would highly recommend them.

I would avoid using this company
again, I'm sure where to start.
Electrian refitted 12 ceiling spotlights, 8 of the fittings now have visible cracks in the plaster or holes. Finger prints on brand new ceiling paint. My Dyson hoover was used to clear away plaster debris without my consent. A Dyson engineer has told me the filter and head of the hoover may be damaged as a Dyson is not built for Industrial use.
The cooker hood was supposed to be put back on, it wasn't.
My blinds were removed and not put back up , I'm personally not a blind fitter so don't know how to do it myself.
After several calls to Forshaw to explain there was a fault in the utility ceiling, I had no feedback from the surveyor. I didn't want the painting to proceed. The painter was advised just to paint over the fault and see what happens from there. So I'm still left with a water damaged utility ceiling.
Again I've been referred to a surveyor. But I'm not satisfied and will be seeking a settlement to fix all the errors on my property. I will be contacting LV to report my complaints and expect a phone call from a senior manager from Forshaw.

Just to update my Dyson has stopped working less than 24hrs after your company used it to clear away industrial waste. I will be expecting this cost to be added to a settlement along with all the other faults .
