The George Inn is definitely a great place to eat! We had the most amazing dinner and breakfast there. The staff was lovely and really helpful too. We stayed at the George Inn for one night while hiking the South West Coast Path and we arrived there dog tired. So we had a good nights sleep and the bed was comfy. However, the rooms are in urgent need of renovation. The whole room appeared somewhat run down, with stains and cracks everywhere, and mold in the bathroom. And although it might have been thoroughly cleaned, it just FELT a little gross. Apart from that, it's a nice pub with nice staff and really good food!

Close to the South West Coast Path just less than a mile away.|Pub with good range of beers and typical pub menu. Ate an excellent 16 oz steak.|Really friendly service made me feel very welcome.|Breakfast was good size and tasty. |Room was comfortable and en-suite had a powerful shower.|Clean room.

The hotel was one of the cheapest in the area, so wasn’t expecting it to be spotless! However when the divan has stains and the ceiling is in disrepair I think the price was way over the top! Typically this time I’d booked without the option of cancellation so had to stay two nights. The bed was comfortable and smelt clean, towels were good and parking come with room.|I paid for my dog to stay two nights allegedly for extra cleaning …

My new favourite place! The staff were so friendly, the food was amazing and the whole experience was a pleasure. We even took the part in the Monday quiz and came 2nd . Was so much fun! Will definitely come every time we are in Braunton. Very highly recommended

This is a very big pub!
I work out of town on a regular basis,
And I've got to say how impressed I am staying here. Very good rates and the hospitality is spot on. Would definitely recommend 👌

We were very well received by the staff in the bar upon arrival. Our room was very “tired” and worn. There seemed to be no elevator so be aware there are stairs to the rooms. The hotel was well located in Braunton’s central area where there are bars and restaurants. It was quiet though for sleeping.

Easy parking, clean comfortable room and bed, excellent breakfast and fantastic staff.| Location is great for Braunton, or to access the local area by car, there is also a bus stop right outside the door, with a route to take you to Croyde.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. Bar prices, food choices were good. Had a great meal and service was really good, nice atmosphere too. |One of the very few pubs I’ve been in where the toilets were clean! |Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!
