First time I have visited this place I had a couple of drinks with a friend, it was very quiet with very few customers but it started getting busier as we were leaving. The views are fantastic, we will be back there in a few weeks time to try the food which looked lovely, it's a very nice place definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Attended a private function - wedding reception.
All laid out beautifully, staff had done an excellent job to ensure it all looked wonderful.
Food was a buffet, but was varied and nicely done with nibbles, cold meats, open sandwiches, salads & small fish & chip portions. All very nicely done.

As a family we are regulars - it’s always a pleasing experience. Hardworking staff, cheery welcome and a tasty menu. Oh, and a great view and a unique setting. Don’t forget to register your vehicle on arrival, to comply with parking restrictions.

Great bar staff only thing holding this place together, the new chef is awful menu changed hardly anything on it flavourless low quality food such a shame, now go queens head for food, really sad as food quality and menu used to be excellent, since new chef gone completely down hill chef didn’t care at all about customers hope the owner will do something soon
Came in wanting a meal for five of us and got told the fish finger sandwiches and chips were only for lunch time the kids did not want anything else. On a. Saturday night only 3 people in the restaurant and chef won’t even do a sandwich menu and food and chefs attitude is the reason why only 3 people in all of the village have spoke about how disappointed they are, really sad it used to be lovely, such a shame get the old menus and chef back before you go bankrupt

The Harbour View cafe bistro has an elevated view across the harbour and if there is a very high tide it is reached via a single track lane through the ship yard at the rear of the bistro. The food is Essex pub style but the haddock and chips is great, the seafood platter is mundane.

We come here like every other weekend. I usually have the eggs Benedict, and my partner has a full English. The foods good quality, yummy! And the staff are great, very accommodating and we have a laugh with them. We’ve also been for dinner and had the ribs for starter, chicken burgers, chips and coleslaw for main (amazing) and I couldn’t fit desert it but they look delicious. A yummy meal with a beautiful view of the harbour and great service.
