Just spent the most fabulous afternoon here. Booked into the Christmas Grotto for my Mum's birthday. Wow, beautifully and creatively designed to make a cosy, festive space. Service and attention to detail is second to none. Delicious selection of cake, hot and cold drinks and milkshakes. Every piece of pottery you could think of to choose from and all very reasonably priced . Lots of paints and equipment. Just all perfect, nothing at all to find fault with. We love coming here, been several times and will keep coming back. Thank you TKC for another joyful afternoon.

This is an amazing place to give a experience as a present. First time that I came, it was my present and it was totally a surprise for me. The second time , it was the present for my niece . Stuff is friendly and you can drink good coffee and cakes.... But atmosphere there, is perfect to relax painting . I will come back again!!! Thank you !

Such a lovely, fun and friendly vibe here. Came to try pottery painting with my family and we all enjoyed it so much. A very therapeutic activity to do alongside a hot coffee and tasty piece of cake.

Great selection of pottery pieces to choose from. The staff are more than happy to help with any questions/suggestions on how to get your paint to look as good as possible! I painted my cat and Daisy gave me lots of tips on what colours to use to match the fur and how to correct the mistake I made!

Can’t wait to see how our pieces look once fired up. Thank you for a lovely Sunday morning!

We had a double family birthday to celebrate, so made our first trip to the Kiln Cafe in Langport. It won't be our last - we had an absolute blast.
There is a wide and interesting range of unpainted, unglazed pottery for you to choose from. You pick the piece that appeals to you, then sit and paint while enjoying delectable drinks and toothsome cakes. The atmosphere in the cafe area is cheerful and bright; in the studio room out the back it's a little quieter and you can put your own music on. Either location works for a good conversation while focused on your own unique piece of art. The Kiln Cafe staff are knowledgable and helpful with beginners, and super friendly. Once you're done painting, they take the pieces away to fire and glaze, ready for you to pick up at a later date.
Various dietary preferences are catered for in the drink and cake choices. There are clean customer toilets. There is free public car parking (hooray for Langport!) an easy walk round the corner.

I have visited the Kiln Cafe several times since it opened, including for my hen party (during which the staff went out of their way to spoil me!), which was held here in September of 2023. I have always found it to be an incredibly warm and welcoming space. The private VIP room (where I had my hen do) is a very calm and relaxing space and is perfect place in which to chill out and paint your pottery. There is also an adults-only space out in the main cafe where you still experience the buzz and atmosphere of the place, but you still feel like your sat somewhere peaceful and quiet.

There is always a fabulous array of pottery to choose from to paint, and the staff are all so welcoming, friendly and willing to help. Great selection of paint colours to choose from, as well as speckly and crackled glazes which add that extra special something to your finished piece.

Excellent selection of drinks and cakes - there has always been at least one utterly delicious gluten free option waiting for me when I have visited! The hand crafted drinks are always amazing too. I have always found the prices (for food, drink and pottery) to be very reasonable and fair.

The Kiln is very easy to find and conveniently located in Langport. It is a fantastic spot for couples, families and small children alike, and is an asset to the town!

Had the most wholesome morning here with some friends and it was the most relaxed and easy going experience. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming with so much pottery options to choose from. The cake that we ordered was delicious along with the drinks. As our session was coming to an end the staff came to our table to take payment which was again stress free and relaxed, ready to leave when our session was up. I travelled quite a way to come here, but would do it again no doubt 💜

This is one of my favourite places, the staff are so lovely and make you feel welcome. There’s so much to choose from and the prices are great ! Such an amazing place to go as a group or by yourself.
