Went for a meal with the family, the staff were all very helpful. Unfortunately the cellar had flooded so all draught beers were off
. Luckily the cask beer was working so all good. Had the philly cheese burger which was excellent.

We visited for lunch today and the service and food were fantastic and great value for money. All the staff were lovely and friendly. They even allowed me to purchase two cooked chicken breasts for my dog 🐶

The pub is dog friendly and in a great spot! We are coming back tomorrow for a Sunday lunch as it’s hard to find venues that are so dog friendly (a lot say they are but you are often shoved in the corner out of the way).

Had a lovely few hours in the pub having a meal and a few drinks. We were really impressed with the quality of the meals when they arrived . Mussels and a pie main. Lots of choice on the menu and reasonably priced. The place is decorated beautifully with quirky paintings and ornaments that catch your eyes as you look around. Our dog was with us and made as welcome as us. Very clean tables cutlery and the ladies toilets were too . The staff were very kind and friendly and made us very welcome

OUTSTANDING!!!! Me and my partner go in if we happen to be passing, as we know how good everything is in there, from the staff, the food, to the pub itself! Nothing is ever too much for these guys. As a team they go above and beyond for customers in there. The food is phenomenal in my opinion, sometimes we’ll just get a couple starters during a couple drinks, other times a full 3 course meal, and NEVER had an issue.. 10/10. 100% well worth a visit!

We live a 5 minute walk from The Kings Head and it quickly became our “Local” when it was reopened! We love going on a Saturday evening for food, drinks, entertainment and 10/10 staff! We have always been made to feel so welcome and it wasn’t long before we became so comfortable walking in and having lovely conversations with all staff and 2 very friendly managers!

My little boy is on the spectrum and is usually funny around strangers and he absolutely loves the management team! They go above and beyond for my son and I couldn’t thank them enough for that as a lot of places don’t seem to like to deal with SEND kids!

Now I used to work as a chef and am very particular on Sunday roasts (my partner would say picky) and I can not fault the roast, or any of the food for that matter, at the Kings Head! Also their sticky toffee pudding is to die for! Hats off to the chefs!
