Met a friend for a DELICIOUS lunch yesterday. The wait staff were very professional but highly entertaining and fun. It's so refreshing to be able to have a banter with folk. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and presented. I will definitely be back if I am ever in the area. Well done!!

We stopped here for the night and we had a great experience. Rooms are tastefully decorated and clean.
My husband and I loved the food and luckily for me, they also have quite a few vegetarian options! The staff was really attentive and friendly.
We highly recommend!

On a business trip with three other colleagues, decided to visit here for lunch. The welcome was really friendly and the food that we ordered was really nice, I ordered the pork belly which came with veg and some sweet potato fries. My friends ordered chicken and fish and chips and was great quality food. They didn't have mash on the first night but on the second visit they did have mash but was made with about a litre of milk and wasn't mashed through but that was the only issue. We all sat in the bar after and stayed for a few hours. We sat on some lovely comfy leather sofas in the window, staff were really nice and accommodating. Would reccomend for some lovely food.

Thank you very much for the fantastic hospitality, from when booking for a large group to the actual day today the team were great! Jess did a personalised menu for my mums 60th birthday, never had this before! The food was lovely and everyone really enjoyed it (23 of us) nothing was too much, mum loved it. The main waiter I actually didn’t get his name, really funny with the kids and was just really nice, helpful , no negatives at all! thank you very much from all of us

Stayed at this pub hotel just for one night for business. Was greeted extremely well all the staff very friendly. The room was excellent clean and was overlooking the outside seating area. As a local establishment, it is very well patronised.|I dined in the restaurant in the evening and I must say the food was an extremely high quality the service once again from the staff in the restaurant was excellent. After a fairly good night sleep even though it was extremely hot I woke a fresh. Breakfast served by lovely lady who was extremely friendly we had time for little chat. Can highly recommend this place to stay. If I come back again for a holiday in this area I will certainly be booking here.||A little gem in a beautiful village which you really should visit

Sunday lunch was OK but don't be fooled by the sign outside as very mediocre. Vegetables with lunch miniscule, for a hamster on a diet is best description. There was no gravy to speak of, nothing on plate just on meat that looked like brushed on with a paint brush. Soft Yorkshire pudding possibly microwave cooked as difficult to cut. Plates only warm, food cold, restaurant no heating on was cold. Over priced and less than adequate, it tries to be Gastro by piling food in a stack, does nothing for claim be best Sunday Lunch around, and would not recommend. Beer fresh but nearly £6 a pint it should be good. The additional veg side dish disappointing too, small portion and added nothing to overall meal experience. Staff friendly and efficient. Having visited once before 23 years ago, then a high class food experience, it's now part of a chain, so unfortunately sign of the times
