Charming village pub with spectacular food. We absolutely loved this place, started with aperols and negronis, shared a beetroot starter. My friend had the scampi I had the mushroom risotto. We finished with sticky toffee pudding. Food all impeccable, staff really sweet and attentive. It was busy and buzzy. Might have to move to Norfolk.

Had the best beef sunday roast ever, recommended by a friend so thought we would try it out, well worth the drive from Norwich. Both me and my partner had the beef roast dinner which came with cauliflower cheese and a bowl of green veg, portion size was huge and you get plenty of meat. staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, including asking for a pot of extra gravy. Will be going back again.

We visited on a Friday lunchtime for Norfolk restaurant week table of 4. The restaurant was chilly and didn't get warm the time we were there. The food was well cooked and very attractive although the portion was small. ( not a meal if you were hungry). The food very tasty especially the muscles in cider, served as a starter. The saff were friendly but not quite waiters, slopping drinks on the table, not removing empty glasses when bringing refills, unused cutlery from starters and main was left on table until the end of the meal. Overall a average restaurant. We all enjoyed it but as we travelled from King's Lynn wouldn't necessarily return.

Ridiculous! We paid £23 for catch of the day thinking we would get a good portion! This won't fill even a kid's stomach. I was so hungry after eating such a small portion and ended up ordering a burger too!

The Blueball really rivals the Harper (which has joint owners). A pub extraordinaire! Hope (bar manager), the chef and the team did us proud. Excellent service (Hope was running the place tonight after only 8 months in the job). The food was superb. We had pigeon and chicken liver parfait to start. We both went for the specials - cod with Nina and fillet of beef, followed by lemon posset and a cheese board. Wine great, Norfolk gin was lovely. What a delightful evening. Well done team - service and food was excellent and we had a super evening. Thank you.

We went for Norfolk restaurant week. Enjoyed a 3 course (£8 per course) meal. Amazing tastes but a little over priced for the quantity. Couldn't fault the quality but would be interesting to see size of their normal cheeseboard. A lovely pub with on street parking.

Luckily for us, we couldn't get a reservation in Holt! Good Sunday menu. We skipped starters and went for roast beef, which was delicious and tender, served with 'greens' and an individual cauliflower cheese. The service was good and friendly. We'll be back!

Delicious roast and a great spot for an afternoon beer. Spacious sunny garden with a nice play-frame for the kids.
Inside looks lovely too - if you can pull yourself away from the garden!
Will definitely be back.
