Under new ownership they seem to be trying hard in a very trying time for pubs, pub looks like its performing, nice variety of beers , pleasant staff

Excellent food (especially the Thai), lovely welcoming atmosphere, and a vast array of drinks. The manager there is also a Sommelier so his knowledge of good wines and recommendations are well worth listening to

Really lovely place to go. No noise calm peaceful atmosphere. Good plain food well cooked pleasantly served with sense of humour (especially where chicolate cake with ice cream is concerned. See you next week.
