Awesome location, 3 min walk from train station. Even tho it’s in the middle of everything it was pretty quiet. Well furnished and very functional. I would stay here again.

Gorgeous heritage-listed railway cottage (it's worth looking at the whole terrace if you like local history, as they are very well preserved) , literally a stone's throw away from the station, although you wouldn't know it as the area is quiet.

All amenities we could have wanted at the cottage, and would comfortably suit a group of four, although we were only two.

We travelled in October, when the weather wasn't warm enough to sit outside, but there is lovely seating out there which would suit a warmer evening with a glass of wine!

The main shopping centre (Derbion) with every shop you could possibly need is a five-minute walk away and museums probably 15 minutes.

Gillian and Luke’s cottage is perfectly and conveniently situated 2 minutes walk (if that) from Derby Train Station. Wonderful if, like me, you are traveling without a car. Alternatively, there is an appointed parking space for a car. The cottage is very comfortable as well as being stylish. Lovely country kitchen with lots of extra amenities which I really appreciated, such as washing pods, coffee and tea etc.
The two double bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are super comfy. Plenty of towels and toiletries are provided.
The TV is a smart TV so you can log onto your own Netflix account etc.
I’ve had just over two weeks here, and it really felt like home from home.
