The cosiest pub ever! We came for the first time on mad Friday with the intention of having one and moving on and stayed all night. It has the loveliest atmosphere, the drinks selection is great and the staff were all super friendly! One of my new favourite places to visit for drinks.

Can't rate the food as they only do pork pies, no use to a vegetearian!
Other than that I can't rate this place highly enough, the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful and there's always a great range of beers.
Especially good for me when the Back in Black dark beer festival arrives in December.

This for me is one of, if not the best pub I've ever been in, this place had it all. The cask beer was simply sublime and the glass when finished was etched with beautiful lacing. The beer choice of cask and keg was very large, something for everyone and the building itself was amazing. 🥇Gold medal winner.

Absolutely beautiful pub. Dark wood panelling, warm candle lights, cosy atmosphere, and a great selection of beers. This is my favourite pub in Halifax. Well worth a visit.

Great, great beer bar, feels like something from a movie! Sadly they only had 3 bottles of cider in haha but it is a beer bar, so I can't hate them for it, I just can't have beer.

Really nice wooden interior on this pub, they have a huge chalkboard with all the different beers and ciders listed the staff are really nice

Craft beer bar with lots of cosy little nooks & crannies. Plenty of choice of beer , good music & pork pies . Nice place to spend an hour on a wet Saturday afternoon.

Beer quality and choice is wonderful & varied. Staff can advise cos they know their beers
