If I could leave six star review, I would help. The lady in the shop was so kind and helpful. She help me make a dress, and created the dress that was perfect for my vision thank you so much!! She made it very quickly, and was perfect to my timescale!!

My daughter had her bridesmaid dress taken in at sides and length shortened, she was charged £130 which was more than what she paid for dress. On collection my daughter tried on the dress only to find they had cut too much off and had taken the dress in too much even though it was pinned. The owner tried to make excuses and wanted to charge extra to correct his mistakes. I wouldn’t use them again, they are overpriced and don’t offer a great service.

I visited today as my son’s favourite soft toy was falling apart!! I cannot recommend highly enough the repair they made. The gentleman was so understanding and said he would fix it there and then and to come back in half an hour! The repair was fantastic and his pricing was excellent. Thank you so much for your excellent service. We really appreciate it. You made my little boy very happy!

I can not fault them. I needed quick last minute alterations for my bridesmaid dresses. They quickly responded and fitted my in with a fitting appointment and had my bridesmaid dress altered to perfection within two days. The price was very reasonable for both the quality and efficiency of the alterations. Would definitely recommend to everyone nearby

I had a delicate dress that needed alterations for a wedding. I was seen really quickly for a fitting and it was altered in two days by Emine, who was also very helpful and lovely. My mum used work in alterations for over 60 years but due to her health and age is no longer able to do complicated repairs. We were both really happy with the quality of the work!

I have now had two bridesmaids dresses altered by the superb team at the Village Tailors and I cannot recommend them enough.
They’re magicians with needle and thread - I wouldn’t go anywhere else for alterations!
The cosy shop and family atmosphere only add to their charm.
