I took a day trip recently to West Kirby but on the journey back home, I took a short stop off in Hoylake.
I’d already researched about @theyogbar and definitely wanted to try some delicious Frozen Yoghurt.

Although inside the place is quite compact, it has a fresh feel to it and the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

I had tried FY before but in America, there were so many different flavours I didn’t know which one to have, so I ask what they would recommend. They suggested Lotus-biscoff. I was then given a small tester pot size to try. It only took me one taste to know THATS the one for me.

So creamy, it tasted more like a rich ice cream than FY. Next I had to decide on size and toppings 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. I settled on Cadbury’s flake pieces, chopped nuts and as a sauce it was White Chocolate sauce.

I’m not usually a huge fan of white chocolate, but all together, it all tasted amazing. 100% I’m going back again.

Staff were very professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

It used to be a great place, but sadly, it has gone downhill. I went in on Friday and paid for yoghurt with cash and was told they were short of change and would I mind if I was 20p short. Of course I said no and the just looked at me. I said I will pay by card and she said she had put it through as cash. I suggested that she put more fruit on the yoghurt to account for the extra 20p and she said I will have to ask the manager. Then came back and said it was OK. What a State! If everyone agreed to pay an extra 20p then they would be raking the money in!

What can I say about the yog bar! The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble, my partner has allergies and they were so helpful and talked her through what she could and couldn’t have, they have a great vegan selection too, you won’t be able to tell the difference with their cookie dough!!!

Highly recommend the biscoff frozen yoghurt too - incredible 🔥🔥🔥🔥

My little boy found this place on TikTok so we ventured up and it was well worth the 40 minute drive, absolutely delicious, so much choice which I wasn’t expecting, we will definitely come back again! 🩷

range has grown loads since the last time i went - especially in terms of like the yogurt flavours! really tasty. i ordered a medium and it came out to be like £5.75 which i thought was pretty expensive for a bit of frozen yogurt with 2 toppings, but turns out the portion was massive! could barely finish it lol 🙂

Lovely fresh toppings for the yogs. The yogs always taste yummy, no sourness or funny smells here. Always clean and tidy, never once had to worry about biscuits in the fruits etc.
Staff always friendly, ready to go through the guest flavours and toppings.
Really good offers.
Been going since they opened, not stopping anytime soon

I didn't buy anything but the woman serving today was a fantastic salesperson!

The vegan options were sadly lacking with only pineapple available but again high praise for the person on the till with her upselling.
