The only reason its got 2 stars are for the staff.
The stock is terrible... It's never fully stocked and if it is half way done. You get a great selection of tinned veg, chicken pot noodles. The crisp section consists of about five different flavours. All in the 20-40p range, some how they seem to only get the packets the have no flavour.
The sweet section is not worth talking about. The fridge section has dunkers that's about it, and some ready made sandwiches, that I personally wouldn't go near.
They only really have fizzy drinks in And water. Not a great selection... Along with everything else

Veg and fruit... They sometimes have old bananns sitting in the side.

Considering what the shop used to be like a couple of years back it's gone right down hill and just seems to be going lower....

Such a welcoming atmosphere, plenty to choose from . Fresh produce and products made in store and sourced from other local businesses. The staff a very welcoming and will go out there way to help you . If you don’t find what your looking for you will next time because they will stock it for you if you ask , it’s becoming the heart of the community once again and very convenient

same as first comment only go in if your desperate, and just want milk!! staff short change you, sweets? not much, pop?not much bread? a few loafs but feel hard, fruit none, you could not go in here and get a weeks shopping, theres nothing in there, they keep saying oh a orders on the way but never is, also the post office side too many people NOT qualified to work in post office does, that included the owners girlfriend, at the time, and theres been a couple, agree with the sandwiches and cakes and pies i know a local woman bakes them i wouldnt eat any of them, as they are not made in a real bakery. health and safety not present. i pity people who live there and have no transport into town for this shop would not sustain you at all,

Sandwich's are fresh and full well worth the trip for a lunch time snack, pies and sausage roll and a hot coffee , loads of choice, friendly staff with a willingness to help, just think it’s great to be able to get snacks and get food for dinner safes me time no more supermarkets for me
