Absolutely shocking!!!!! booked a holiday through on the beach and received Covid 19 cover insurance when booked. My Daughter got covid before we were due to travel so had to cancel. Made my claim through Tigon months ago and they haven't even acknowledged my claim! sent over 50 emails since submitting my claim and still heard nothing! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

I have tried to make a claim for a cancelled holiday with Sunshine Holidays due to covid. The claims procedure has not responded at all and therefore claim can't be registered. I have been trying for 2 weeks to make contact with Tigon, phone messages left, no response, and emails not answered.
I think Tigon have gone!
I don't think the company exists or it's associate International Medical Rescue.....feel like I have been scammed

We booked a holiday with OnTheBeach in confidence that they were offering COVID-19 cancellation protection insurance with Tigon Insurance. We had to cancel the holiday 1 day before our departure dues to catching COVID-19. We submitted a claim through im-secure.co.uk and tried emailing and calling Tigon Insurance. They have ignored the claim and our emails. When you call Tigon Insurance, it goes straight to voicemail and no one returns the call. I agree with the other reviews, this is a scam and On The Beach should be responsible for using them.

Mixed feelings about them. Had to cancel my Sunshine Holidays holiday due to being pinged by NHS. Took quite a while and yes they were difficult to contact, but the claim was successful and the money is in the bank. They do exist, they are FCA registered, you can complain to the ombudsman if you are unhappy. That said I think they might just be swamped with a huge number of claims.

Glad to read these reviews - terrible service from Tigon, having had holiday cancelled in December its 3 months later and still not a single response to email or phone message. Never available to speak to and onthebeach have a queue of about 90 people at all time.

Avoid at all costs. Very difficult to contact the claims line and they regularly drop the call if you mention you are making a claim.

I had to make a claim due to my fighter having covid and had no response and I have tried calling on many many occasions. They never respond! Holiday companies need to take responsibility of how pore this company is

Dreadful. Do not use this company. I'm still trying to get basic information about my policy. Been ignored. Bounced around from dept to dept. Avoid this company at all costs
