Not a great way to start a morning. Person at the front desk was quite rude, we’re just trying to get a simple solution to an urgent matter, but she had to make it convoluted. The person was not helpful to us trying to arrive to a solution through reasonable discussion, did not provide any other helpful potential solutions or alternative paths, she started to throw down her pen on the table aggressively and storming off without informing us why. Fortunately the manager stepped in when we requested his presence. He was calm and reasonable, and provided us with a satisfactory response.

Drove 8 miles on a Saturday morning to get to Belfast City Office to discover no counter service. This is the HQ of Ulster Bank. Does not state no counter serviceon their website. NEEDS UPDATED. I needed £750 so could only get £500. I am a personal and business customer here and was not informed. Opening that business account took 2 months but I felt loyal to them as worked for them for 38 years

Member of staff was eating something and talking to me which was unprofessional.

Hello. I had been all around the houses trying to locate details re a dormant First Active investment account. Eventually I spoke to a Joseph in the Donegal East branch (Friday, 13th) and he was so professional, helpful and patient. He solved the problem. Wonderful experience speaking to someone so customer friendly.

Ulster bank in general are a horrific bank to deal with. I tried moving money to bid on on a house auction and they blocked my money being transferred for no reason and no contact about why. I end up missing buying the house. 4 days later and I still have not got my funds back! Worst bank either side of the boarder!

Having written to Antrim branch Manager over 2 weeks ago and not receiving the courtesy of a reply, tried to call to be told they do not accept incoming calls. In a matter of ones financial confidentiality, being unable to contact your branch Manager is surely a very large 'Two Fingers' to the customer. TIME FOR A CHANGE I think ?

Great people in this bank and its branches. But their website is a joke. Does not fully work on safari -so cannot reset password for example! Use UB for business, but thus will sadly change as it just cannot compete against the large UK banks set up. Pity.
