I had a really great experience with Usay compare when purchasing health insurance. In particular, Dale made the whole process super smooth and easy and found us a great deal. He was very helpful and super responsive even after I had decided on a policy and paid. Thanks Dale! ☺️

I’ve had a great experience renewing my private health insurance through them.

On the other hand, when I had to cancel my private insurance (which I did directly with BUPA), I started getting such an amount of missed calls from Usay Compare. After a month, this amounted to outright harassment.

Over a month, I received at least two missed calls a day, one early morning and one late afternoon. I understand they’re doing their job, but this is a bit too much - and I didn’t get a single email over this month from Usay compare. I had already cancelled with BUPA and got all the relevant paperwork in the post from BUPA.

When finally after a month I’ve picked up, I’ve explained that I cannot afford health insurance anymore and have already looked into other options but they are not for me. I then got an email from Usay Compare to confirm my cancellation (which was already done by BUPA a month prior). I thought it’d end there.

I got another TWO calls today: one to inform me that I’d get an email, and another one to check whether I got the email.

I also had the impression that the person on the other end of the phone wasn’t too apologetic about essentially harassing me with calls throughout the day when I had already made it clear that I wasn’t happy receiving that amount of calls.

So, beware that Usay Compare will treat you pricelessly whilst you’re a paying a customer, but will start harassing you with calls and insist even if you don’t pick up after a month. Not a way to entice a customer to return.

Honestly I am very impressed by their service. I felt really listened to and was given excellent advice based on my circumstances. After a year they called me to discuss my renewal, and were able to tell me exactly all of the information needed for me to make a decision on my renewal and get a cheaper quote. Within an hour everything was actioned and I had nothing further to do. Every advisor I have spoken to (Brendan L. and Olly F.) was knowledgable, kind, and professional. Highly recommend

Just taken out medical insurance plan for the first time for my husband and I . My advisor was Bradley Owen . This being my first time taking o7t this kind of policy, I had loads of questions. Bradley was really helpful, super informative . He happily sent me all the information through and rang me back a week later . There was absolutely no hard sell and I feel like I've been given the relevant information I needed .

Started my private cover today. Asked for a comparison quote last week and was called immediately. My advisor Sam was very helpful and asked me if I needed time to consider policy. Asked him to call back the following week and he did so.

Asked him questions about the policy and he was able to answer. Easy to get through to their line too as I had no phone queue to wait in.

All in all a pretty seamless experience. I'd definitely recommend going to Usay before choosing a private health insurer.

After they sold me an Exeter policy I needed to claim for a wrist injury on my son.
Literally no help whatsoever I had to take charge and arrange absolutely everything myself .
Rang usay to complain 4/5 times and then raised it to a complaint and still haven’t heard a thing .

I took Bupa Insuarance in April 2024 through this company, they never explained properly, when I wanted to see a Gp from Bupa there’s form which needed to be filled by the nhs GP and cost from £50/70 which they didn’t explained to me and I have been paid £ 82 a month for 5 months.
Even though I explained to Usay I need a attention medical care as soon as they were not happy to help, their respond is to wait for six weeks
Please go direct to the health care not this agency
Bupa direct they seem very helpful, my regrets is use this agency . Waste of time and money and No help their intentions is to sell the insurance!!!
