A big tip of the cap to Jake who assisted my wife through the process of buying a car. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, a fellow fishing fan and impressed that he took the time to talk and engage with my wife and not just me. We both explained to him we noticed this and for a young person to have such engaging professional qualities displayed to me he has very healthy future ahead of him.
I was also very impressed with the manager, Ryan…he left Jake alone to do his job. It takes a skill to entrust your staff to get on with it, I know that as an owner of a financial services company that you often find out the best in staff when you empower them with guidance and trust.
Overall, a decent price, a decent outfit and a first class bunch that made us as customers feel very good about our purchase…I’ll be buying again from ‘this lot’ a great bunch.

For the Most Part Vale have been ok, however the service I received today has really frustrated me.

Full disclosure I'm having issues with my Jeep, and today it was in for another service, having only been out of the shop for three weeks, and unfortunately today they couldn't provide a courtesy car (Which for reference always come empty with ~10 miles range from my experience)

At booking i was assured that the service would take only 2 Hours, as my only option was to wait - it in fact took 4.5 Hours.
3.5 Hours after saying nothing, they came to tell me they were out of Oil! and I had to wait for a delivery from a local vendor which could be another couple of hours

I chased after 30 mins for waiting for oil, and asked to speak to a manager - Martin C came out to speak to me, and he spoke at me about how "complex oil was", and how many varieties there are, highlighting the fact that they only check their stock monthly, and that i was just "unlucky", he apologized and said there was nothing he could do, sounding deeply unsympathetic and uninterested, he just wanted an end to the conversation. Now given that I've been in that shop nearly every three weeks recently you can imagine this is one of my final straws.

The Staff knew i was there waiting, and at no point did they come and talk to me about the delay until i confronted them, It's not like i had plans or work today!

I recently visited Vale Motors Suzuki, and I can’t speak highly enough of the incredible experience I had. From the moment I stepped through the door, the entire team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely focused on making my time there enjoyable. Hey,I had an appointment with a member of staff ,first impression, very clean ,highly polished vehicles,professional service & cuppa tea, and talked us through the whole thing to purchasing a new car. Excellent service and polite, friendly atmosphere to enjoy your time looking around & ask questions about anything you might wish to know. It's sales. However , it's SO nice to see smiling faces and great people who are so professional and helpful and take enough time to choose a vehicle happy hunting. Just go for a look and feel free to get in & out of the vehicles. Disabled parking & toilets ,just plan your trip & go !!!

Got a car through the motability scheme, and Peter the sales guy was nothing short of amazing! Helped us through the entire process and has been on hand to answer any questions we've had relating to the car.

The service team on the other hand are so far below par it surprises me that they are allowed to work on cars. My car has been in 3 times with the same issues. 1st time was told no fault could be found and that was that despite the RAC plugging it in and it flagging up 27 codes. 2nd time was told it was taken on a 90 mile road test and no fault could be found. Before we were off the forecourt we had to let them know they hadn't put the car back together properly. Motor case wasn't put back on, just rested on top of the block and the bolts were left laying at the bottom of the windscreen. Back in for a 3rd time because the car died after failure messages popped up again. Can I get an update on what's happening with my car? No I can't. Instead I'm met with rude staff when I call, who tell me someone will call me back and they never do.

It seems that once they've made a sale and got money, there isn't a care in the world about whether or not it remains safe and reliable.. you just get fobbed off and given attitude when you try and speak with the the service team.

My 3 stars are for the sales guy. The service team aren't worth what they get paid.

Purchased a used Suzuki Baleno, Scott was really professional and helpful but unfortunately within two weeks noticed that the steering was 'heavy and jolty' and had contacted them and got put through to the service team as it was still under warranty. I felt that his attitude suggested that it was me and not the car... (I had got other people who drove the car and agreed with me) I took the car in and within a few hours they had said the 'strut mounts had seized' and then several hours received a phone call saying I would have to pay for the repairs as not covered under the warranty. I then asked to return the car and they then called me back saying they would repair it for free.

However, I was dissatisfied and lost complete trust in the car and tried to negotiate a replacement (even me paying extra for an alternative) and just got told to return it but not to expect a full refund. On discussion, a car purchased when the defects should have been noticed prior to selling and in line with Consumer Rights Act, I eventually got a full refund.

Whilst this was resolved, not the service nor met any expectations as a customer.
