I have found Vanguard to be a very user friendly service, I have had to telephone them several times, and ALWAYS found them to be very friendly and efficient, everyone that I spoke to seemed to have a cheerful response to my call , it felt like I was respected and important . Being in debt is a situation I do not enjoy , in fact I am feeling ashamed. And the stress I experienced along with sleepless nights due to creditors wanting payment which for various reasons I was not able to fulfill. But as soon as I was referred to VANGUARD via a debt advice company , I felt a huge relief, and was very satisfied in the way they handled my IVA , each step of the process was explained to me , and the whole process went smoothly. I have no hesitation to recommend anyone to use this company,and can guarantee they will be of the same admiration for them as I hold . This organisation is the Best of the Best ( this review has been completed without any reward from Vanguard )

I didn't choose to use this company. I had an IVA with Vanguard and they took over. I'm sat here having an anxiety attack because of these people. Called last week to make a payment of £15500.00 to settle my debt and close the IVA. 7 days later i have not had so much as a receipt! when i made the payment, the adviser was asking for the 16 digit account number. I asked "do you mean the card number?" and she kept saying account number. I explained how banks work and the payment was finally taken. I am about to call citizens advice to ask my rights. I may request a refund. I am shocked and appalled by this dodgy company. Called several times to ask for a receipt. when you first get through you speak to a lovely Scottish person but after that you get an adviser who has no clue what they are doing and they just lie to you to get you off the phone.

I tryed to pay my iva off, must just got my last £8000 paid in to finish the evergate company later 2 to 3months later go in touch wanting more money I told them I had finish it off evergate a really bad company to take over base in some island some place. now after 2 years I'm getting my credited letter saying I owe money to them. I don't think they paid that last payment so need to chase these people up

I was going through the most stressful and heartbreaking time drowning in debt. The staff at vanguard were kind, helpful, understanding and reassuring. They helped me with an affordable monthly payment plan and I now feel like my life is back on track. I definitely recommend, these guys are great!

Vanguard is an excellent choice for dealing with my debt. They truly do look into all your issues and answer any questions you may have!
Depending on my life situation over the few years they were always able to set my payments to a reasonable amount helping me live as normal life as possible (given the circumstances).

Poor financial advice, unaffordable payment options and no realistic budgeting plan in place to help me out of financial difficulty which is what led me to Vanguard in the first place. They are out to maximise the amount of money that is paid to them whilst screwing the creditors for next to nothing. If you happen to fall into a plan with these people, I would just suggest cancellation of the IVA or do not pay them any money and wait for it to fail. I shall be approaching Step Change to proceed with a DRO application which is what I should have done in the first place.

**AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY MAKE IT WORSE** this company is a joke a bunch of cowboys I went through a load with them they advised me to stop paying certain people then said they couldn’t do anything I lost my bank because of them I lost money because of them. They don’t help at all and just dumped me with no further advise or help made my whole already stressful situation 10 times worse. I’m looking in to reporting them to the Finacial omnibus-man as they shouldn’t be aloud to advise. If you already are dealing with them please for your sake do not take there advise . They may have just cost me my family home.
