Contacting me without consent. I withdrew any consent to contact me after a ridiculous quote over the phone. They ignored and continue to contact me multiple times. Not to mention the hairbrained risk assessment they do... even if you only have an intention to renovate you must disclose it, even if you don't wish for the insurance to cover the period when renovation is taking place, you must disclose it and it will double your premium.

Avoid Avoid Avoid. Took out rent guarantee insurance, not a chance in hell of a pay out. So much paperwork needed that they will find a reason not to pay.

As a landlord you are expected to try and help your tennants with a pay structure to help them pay the arrears, however that will void your insurance

I am a broker and deal with Vasek on a daily basis. They are competitive, flexible and offer a great range of products with excellent cover. The claims handling is vastly improved and we recommend Vasek with complete confidence.

The most despicable insurance company that i have ever dealt with. The lowest of the low. i had a fire claim, i thought it was large at £60K, apparently not in the ins industry. They managed to find a way not to pay any part of the claim. i have never made a claim with any household policy ever, always paid my premiums and when you need them...

It has very nearly ruined my life.. if it wasnt for friends, i wouldn't have been able to repair the house.

i am a small landlord who has worked hard to acquire a very small portfolio but they also dealt with me like a large commercial property business.

Small landlords beware of Vasek and go elsewhere ..

i did query with my broker when i switched to them, as they were not a name that i recognised, should have trusted my intuition.

They also managed to take three months from the date of the incident to reject the claim.

Don't, under any circumstances, use this company. In a business where the shyster companies always try to avoid paying out on claims, Richard Berridge's company Vasek seem to be in a class of their own.... (I gave them one star because negative stars isn't an option)

Vasek offer an excellent service coupled with excellent insurance cover, which give them the edge for me when broking competitive products. Their claims service is efficient and their underwriters helpful and knowledgeable.

Started out as seemingly a decent insurer. I wish I had not used them, they are an absolutely unreasonable in their behaviour and simply not worth using.

Following the sale of my holiday let cottage I cancelled the insurance policy with Vasek and have now been waiting over six weeks to receive a refund. I'm just glad I won't have to deal with them again
